I paced around the entirety of my room in haste, trying to figure out what to wear. I didn't know why, but suddenly, I felt the need to try harder.
I gave up on multiple options and decided on a simple yet short sleeveless sundress with a slit at the thigh. I had worn this before, and I could still vividly remember his reaction to the dress. If I wasn't so clueless then, I would have realized that he liked me from the look in his eyes.
After changing into the dress, I stared at my reflection in the mirror, feeling satisfied. My hair fell in soft waves over my shoulders, and I felt a spark of excitement mixed with nerves fluttering in my stomach. I wondered what he had in store for us.
I didn't really need to do much makeup; a little lip liner and lip gloss would do. I touched up my hair, allowing it to sit prettily before grabbing my bag and my phone.
