Belle got home before Braxton,so she decided to make dinner and then take a shower before eating dinner . After dinner she kept Braxton's dinner in the refrigerator as she closed the door to the refrigerator he came inside.
"I thought you'd be sleeping over"
Braxton looked at her. Seems their relationship is still a little bit strain . So he did the first that entered his head
"I'm so sorry for staying out so late"
"Hey... It's okay , i understand " she said smiling brightly at him unknown of what the effect of her dimpled smile has done to his heart. He didn't smile back but nodded at her
"Um... Huh... I bought you something panini "
Belle hurried went to grab the shopping bag from him not only did he bought her that he also bought her closes and ....they look similar
"Why are the clothes similar"
Braxton smiled and moved close to her , holding her shoulder drawing her closer to him
"One for you and one for me how's that"
"Great . But why?"
"It's a best friends thing you know? " He said smiling charmingly down at her , belle looked at him staring at his handsome which is so close that she could kiss but instead of doing anything that would strain their relationship she tiptoed and gave him a kiss on his cheek. Braxton laughed and return the kiss on her forehead before hugging her. Then he suddenly asked
"How're you feeling"
"Great "
Braxton sighed relieved then hugging her again
"I'm so sorry belle I messed up big time"
"It's my fault Brax don't blame yourself dude"
Braxton released her and then managed a smile for despite feeling pained for hurting her the way he did . He wished he didn't abandon her the way he had .
"I kept your dinner in the refrigerator , I 'd thought you wouldn't come home so I....."
" I will always come home to you" He told her looking tenderly and longingly at her . Belle looked at him, is he in love with her ? Is she in love with him?, Are they in love with each other and they don't know of it? No they can't be in love ,she can't be in love . But why does it hurt ,why does his words want to make cry . Damnnnn she love this man even if he doesn't love her back , she would wait for his love even if it take years for him to realize his love for him . She knows she isn't going to make a wrong choice of waiting for him because he's her best friend ,he respect her and she knows she love him. But what if he doesn't love her back ? That would be sad isn't it? But the girl don't mind as far he still remain her best friend and still respect her she would wait. Some she started to cry , Braxton came to her , hugging her , trying to soothe whatever painful emotion she's having
"Did I say anything to make you cry ? He asked worried, she shook her head and smiled painfully at him, wiping her tears
"I'm sorry if I say something hurtful"
"No you didn't"
" Are you sure "
She nodded then turn her head to get his food from the refrigerator and heat for him then setting on the dinning for him to eat.
The rest evening was great as Braxton did everything to make her laugh they recall both the painful and funny aspect of their childhood together laughing about it all.
In the morning belle was suddenly woken up by the sudden urge to vomit ,she ran out of the bed to do justice to that . She lean on the bathroom sink wondering why she never had morning sickness in the first two months of her pregnancy why now and it becoming worse she's afraid Braxton might notice . Speaking about Braxton she turned to know if he's still sleeping since he has moved back in their room but she found him behind her. She became white with shock and became dizzy with nervousness.
"Are you okay? He asked calmly as if he didn't suspect anything . He reach out to touch her forehead to check her temperature.
"Yeah am good just that I might still be having side effects from the drugs I am taking" she told him hastily
He didn't say anything for a few moments then he told her calmly
"We should go to the doctor"
"No I'm fine"
"You need to get healed completely" He said making her see reasons.
" I'm okay Brax . Seriously"
Braxton exhaled and narrowed his eyes at her as if he has found out her secret but his next word was the opposite of his expression
"I want you to be okay buddy"
"I'm doing great dude"
He smiled at her and escorted her out of the toilet. For the rest of the day belle went to attend the urgent call that came from the company that morning while Braxton also went to the office as they are preparing for a world innovative conference in the coming month. So he needed to set things in order with the order directors and the president of the company. When the came back ,they exchange the gifts they bought for each other, made and ate dinner together, sat on the chair to watch Netflix at a point belle slept off, placing her head on his shoulder so he took her uptairs to their bedroom and lay her down. He stared at her , as she sleep
"Why are you hiding our baby belle ? He asked her sofly. "If you tell me I won't freak out like I'd always do I'd stay by your side so please just tell me " he said removing the strand of hair from her sleeping face .He kissed her forehead and turn to off the lamp before going to sleep. He isn't really sure why she had refused to tell him about their baby but he would wait until she's ready. The next day during breakfast she rushed to vomit and he followed her rendering his support as a husband this time he avoid asking her any questions
