NO way " Alec said surprised " you two don't..... You two weren't even in love how did it happened"
Braxton laughed why orabelle smiled " it's just happened man"
"Good for you" Alec said smiling affectionately at both of them
" Thanks" Braxton said, he looked at Jamila who is silently eating "so how did you get married"
Alec gave a tight smile and replied " uh we just got married you know" then continue eating
Orabelle looked at Jamila ,she seems hurt by his attitude but hide her face while still eating. She looked at Braxton and notice he's also iaware of his brother's attitude. They talked about everything and anything except their marriages. When it's time to sleep belle showed them their room and left after wishing them a good night rest. She went downstairs and help her husband with the dishes before they both retire to bed.
The next morning after breakfast Alec told Braxton he have decided to retire since because he began suffering for face blindness and it has been affecting in his stay at Afghanistan so he was released from duty. Face blindess was something their mother had suffered from as a young girl. So it's hereditary. Alec told them that if they don't mind he and his wife would stay with them for a few weeks so that he could buy his own apartment. Braxton told him he's not bothered ,they are originally from Ecuador but their father was raised in America so they became Americans by birth and if they should take culture into consideration they are meant to leave together because the latinos pride themselves on how big their family is..
Jamila did not come downstairs through out that day so the next day as after the men went out to some outing. Belle prepared some snacks and take it up to Jamila after knocking she was invited by Jamila heavy accented English.
"Hi I brought some snacks"
"Umm ....thank you" she said not knowing how else to appreciate Belle
" Uh....you wanna hangout?
Jamila's face lightened up but she became sad again "I have no money on me"
"It's okay . Bill's on me" Belle said and Jamila smiled at her
" I love your um ..... dimple" Jamila complimented
"Thanks" she replied as she leave the room so that she could dress up
After they are prepared , Belle called the boys to tell them to inform them of their whereabout . First they went to the salon to have their hair done. Jamila was reluctant to cut her hair but after a much persausion from belle and the hair dresser she agreed at the end of it while Jamila looked so different at even more beautiful . Belle looked the same but neat as she don't keep long hair and her style is usually what they call skull cap but without the front hair. Belle is gorgeous of course . She is the kind of beauty people who knows her as a tomboy are offended that such beauty is wasted on her instead of some female who embrace their feminine side
"Do you think...um..Alec would like my hair" Jamila asked expectantly when they got to a restaurant to have lunch
" Yeah of course which man wouldn't praise his wife's hairdo"
" Not mine" Jamila murmured sadly but belle heard her
"Alec is a nice guy you know I have known him as a little girl had once repaired my mom's car one day when are car broke down in the middle of nowhere even though my mom is not so find of him she respect him"
Jamila nodded " He saved me when they killed my family three years ago . He has been nice to me I think he's so mad that my people thinks is having an illegal affair with me then forced him to marry me at gunpoint . I felt bad because he had been there for me . He asked me to cook for him and he return he pays me despite being already financially responsible for me and I..I ....
"You love him " Jamila nodded slowly and sadly almost at the point of crying when she realized that she had told belle alot about herself
"You know me and Brax are married but our marriage isn't rosy either"
Jamila looked surprised" it's not?
Belle 1 her head
" But he seems in love with you. I see it in his eyes anytime he looks at you"
Belle laughed .she wouldn't understand would she? She wouldn't understand that Braxton would never see her in that light because he's afraid of ruining their friendship
"He doesn't want a baby"
"Huh which husband wouldn't want a baby"
Belle smiled
"I am afraid of Alec knowing I am pregnant"
Belle looked surprised " you're pregnant?!! And...and why not"
" He's going to be mad . She said sadly I ..I don't know maybe he would accept it but not me"
There was a deep silence between the two women
"You know I envy you . You're pregnant" Belle said in a mock jealous trying to uplift the other woman's spirit. It worked because she laughed
"I could teach you how to get pregnant" she whispered
Belle eye widen in surprise she looked at the pretty woman in the front of her "would it work?
Jamila nodded " my grandma taught me all these things"
Belle marvelled as Jamila tell her every technique to take a man to your bed.
"Wow... For a woman who grew up in a non English speaking country your English is pretty good "
" Yeah thank you I actually completed my degree here in nursing. My papa was a politian before he was killed so he ensure I and my late siblings school outside of our country."
Belle reached for her hand and squeeze it " am sorry for your losses"
She smiled sadly "I still miss them"
Belle felt bad . She was little when her brother was killed by some unknown gun men . She never really felt pain when her father died of heart attack as it was a relieve because her mom will be free from the frequent beating she receive from him and she would be free from both the physical, emotional, and verbal abuse she received from him as a child so she don't know how bad it hurt. But she still feel the other woman's pain.
"Alec would be happy if you tell him about the pregnancy"
"I don't know" she said scared
" trust me. "
" He wouldn't even allow me touch him . He's so disgusted of me"
" I don't think so okay what about this you help me to get Braxton to have a baby with me and I help you build your relationship with Alec"
