Chapter 12 - Chapter 11

********************BACK AT THE COMPANY****************

Mr. Wilson took out his secret phone and dialed a number with the caller ID 'Agent Black.' After a few rings, the call was picked up, "Hello my name is Agent Black, how may I be of service in your underworldly deeds?". Note: Underworld in this book means a common term for infamous, illegal, criminal people like the mafia and drug dealers. "I'm going to need you to kill someone for me." Mr. Wilson said getting straight to the point. He and 'Agent Black' talked for a while before Mr. Wilson hung up.

"At this point, she better not remember or else it's going to destroy everything I've built and if she does remember, those friends of hers will pay dearly for it. Doctors like Murphy aren't easy to come by." He said ranting to himself.

***********BACK TO ANDREA AT THE CEMETERY**********

I decided to go home like I had told my uncle since there was no way I could find my mother here or anywhere else for that matter but then I realised that I'd forgotten my keys at the company and that I'd also forgotten my car. I grumbled under my breath 'How can I have forgotten my keys and my car at the company? Worse of all how did I not realise I was walking the way here? I'm already exhausted and now I have to walk all the way to the company, the one place I am trying to get away. Wait... I can just get a taxi... Why didn't I think of that before?' I thought and lightly face palmed myself.

I turned around and began my long trekk back to the signing post and to be honest, I did get lost a few teeny tiny times, nothing to report home about though. I signed out and left the cementary although I did see something weirdly familiar but I'll shed more light on that later. I was planning to hail a taxi once I got out but I really wanted ice-cream. And since Wally's is just a few blocks away, I decided to go and get some rocky-road 'yum'.

I entered into the restaurant and met Clyde at the counter. "Hey Clyde" I called out and he looked up at me beaming with smiles. Now at the counter I said, "One rocky-road please.". "Sure" Clyde said and starting making my ice-cream. "Where's the rest of the gang?" He casually asked probably feeling that something was wrong. "Luca's at work and Mathew and Maya aren't a part of the "gang" anymore" I answered dryly, taping my fingers alternatively on the counter.

"Mm, thought something bad must have happened to split you four but this is worse than I could have ever imagined." Clyde replied back trying to match my dry tone. I arched my brow questionably, really not understanding what he meant. "Since the day that I met you Andrea you've always had this wide smile plastered on your face expressing your bubbly personality and everytime you've come here, it's always been with all your friends or atleast one of them. But look at you now, your friends are no where to be found and your once cheerful aura is now moody and depressed." He explained looking at me to see if I understood him.

I gave a knowing nod and asked "Is the ice-cream ready?" "Yeah just remaining to add a bit of this and a bit of that." Clyde said and handed me my ice-cream but as I turned to walk away, he grabbed my hand making me look back towards him. "Andrea, I know I'm in no position to meddle into your personal life or find out what exactly is going on but I advice you to fix it or at least do something to manage with how out of the world you're acting, you may end up in a depressed state. And you and I both know that depression is not a thing to be to toyed with." He said and let go of my hand, leaving to attend to a customer who just entered.

Taking my ice-cream on a cone, I left the restaurant bumping into a guy with messy green hair. Again, shedding more light on that later on. I hailed a taxi, got off at company, got my guys from my office and drove my car out of the parking lot and not a single traitor in sight. 'I wonder what uncle did to them '. Once home, I showered, put on some extra comfy cotton pajamas and slumped into bed. I spent to rest of the day (since it was already evening) eating and watching cartoons.

********************BACK TO MR. WILSON********************

"Agent Black your instructions are clear, befriend her and make her trust you. With her closest friends gone she'll need someone to fill that gap in her heart and that person has to be you. If she shows any sign that she remembers anything, anything at all, eliminate her in the swiftest way possible leaving no signs it was you." Mr. Wilson dryly said before angrily hanging up the call.

"I swear these days the "best of the best" are no better than the rest of the idiots. Who ever who made the scoreboard must have a liking towards neanderthals and idiots. This Agent Black better not disappoint, it took alot of effort to get him to work me. The cobras are really not a force to be messed with."

*******

Note: For those who may not understand, the scoreboard is for keeping tabs on the best of the best in the underworld with the best organisations stay up top while the ones at the deep bottom, manage. 'The cobras' is the third best organisation in the underworld.
