After the dark had held this part of the world long enough, the first rays of a new day started to appear. Outside the cave, it was still blue in color for it was early in the morning. Her fox ear flickered, and her little crimson eyes opened.
Now refreshed with her skills replenished, she walked towards the little light dot that basked in the first rays of the sun.
"Hey partner, are you up? Are you ready to kill some of those nasty goblins today?"
The little fox said happily.
"Yes, I am. Also, at night the forest was loud, different from usual; I could keep hearing ugly sounds while you were sleeping."
The little dot doesn't have to sleep because it is some sort of spiritual being, so it stands watch over the entrance of the cave while the little fox is sleeping.
"Mmm, that doesn't sound too good for us, goblins probably; ok, lets go hunting before they become stronger."
The little fox ran off to the woods, and the little dot just nodded in approval and followed behind her.
And as always, the foxie came up with their hunt scheme. She remembered that the little dot skill |Thunderbolt| did more damage in the water, so she ordered the little dot to lead the enemies into the river that runs through the middle of the island.
Because the little dot could fly, it became the decoy to lure the enemies into the river, and when they were in the river, the little fox was going to keep them in her barrier imprisoned, so they couldn't escape the secondary affect of the electrified and HOT water.
On the other side, if the enemy were just the Lvl 1 Goblins, then the little fox was going to just use her |Barrier| to cook them alive like before, and like that, after a few minutes of waiting, the little dot lured a level 5 Mountain Boar.
However, once it hit the water, it was trapped in the fox's barrier, and then the next thing the boar could hear was a loud BANG sound and a bluish light that smacked into the left side of its head, causing extreme damage, but that wasn't all, because the water in the barrier itself became electrified and was also dealing high damage over time.
But even more menacing than that was the heat that the lightning released into the water, causing a huge steam explosion, which killed the boar in that exact instant. Meanwhile, the little fox looked around in wonder at what just took place.
"H-haha, as expected of me, like I told you, follow this big sister, and there's nothing that can stop us."
Then the little fox was putting her chest out so proud of her plan, while the little dot was just happy that its parner was also happy.
The little fox laughs and says
"Oh well, little dot try to find another boar."
After a while, it finds another one that gets killed the same way as the first one. So they ran out of skills to use and gave up for the day because the little foxy didn't have enough damage to actually kill the boars.
But she was more than ready to take out some goblin trash. They looked at their EXP this time and then proceeded to walk back to their cave to recuperate, of course not before the little fox got a nice, healthy lunch from the few edible pieces of the boar carcasses.

The little fox Ether was 0 since every time the little dot caused the steam explosion, it destroyed her barrier too, so they had to wait a few minutes for her to recover some Ether just to trap the enemies before going for one more boar.
Unknown to this happy couple, however, some pair of yellowish eyes had been following them since that first blast of steam. So they continued to track them at a distance until they reached their cave, and then they took off back to report to their chief.
Inside of the forest at evening, the goblin leader was listening to the report of the goblin scout about what that loud sound was. After a few minutes, the goblin leader made some unknown sounds, and 15 goblins from Lvl 1 to Lvl 2 hurriedly went in the direction of the cave where the duo was resting.
So with that, the goblin king barked out his orders and moved on to the next target, a wooden water bridge to the next island to the left of the one that they were on. So the chief ordered the other goblins to start chopping down trees and gathering the vines so they could start construction of the bridge.
But there were only mountain boars on this island, so he didn't get more chances to become stronger, and that's why he left for the next island to find better things to kill.
On the biggest of the islands, the one in the middle of all the others, and earthquakes just broke out making some loud noises, it sounded like the end of the world, and it wasn't that far from the truth.
Two pairs of giant eyes just appeared near a mountain; whatever happened, it alerted the owner of those eyes, who just glanced in some directions before they disappeared as if they were never there.
Ha ha ha, the baby fox is already asleep in the duo cave; she really is a little pig because she eats so much meat that she just passed out. And the small dot, as usual, stood at the mouth of the cave so that its friend could sleep well and feel secure.
It always felt so warm when the little dot would see its companion sleep so peacefully, and the best thing about it was that it was no longer alone in this place, wherever it was.
The duo inside the cave were totally oblivious to how this night would become a bloody one.
