On a rainy night, under a gloomy and dark sky, different colors of light started to appear. They looked almost divine, visible even from far away. This beautiful display came from Elven lights and purple sprites dancing across the sky.
Among them, a stunning figure emerged; it was a woman, eight meters tall, wrapped in shimmering lights, her large purplish fairy wings glowing. It seemed like she was searching for something, but just as quickly as she appeared, she vanished.
In a small, dim cave, a little fox curled up, clutching a round object tightly. She could hear a soft, soothing voice.
"I'm sorry, young one, but what you're holding belongs to me. Could you give it back, please?"
The little fox was startled at first. Then she noticed a purple light streaming in from the cave's entrance, resembling a cascade of glowing stars.
"I don't know you! Stay away!"
The little fox said, her voice trembling with fear.
But despite her fear, she wasn't going to let anyone take her precious companion, not without a fight.
The woman outside the cave could tell the voice didn't belong to the thief. The little fox sounded too innocent, too worried about the egg's safety.
"I mean no harm."
the woman said, her voice as gentle as a breeze.
"I only wish to be reunited with my child. Will you grant this mother's wish?"
Curious, the fox hesitated. The word "mother" echoed in her mind, and she found herself peeking outside the cave. What she saw took her breath away.
The woman was enormous yet beautiful, with a soft, purple glow surrounding her. She sat calmly near the cave, her purple eyes watching the tiny fox with a warm, reassuring smile.
"Are you really the mother of this little one?"
The fox asked, still scared but braver now.
"If so, why did you leave it behind?"
A sad expression crossed the woman's face, her glowing aura dimming a little.
"I didn't leave my baby. It was taken from me."
she said softly.
"But now I've found it again. Can't you believe a mother only wants to hold her child again?"
Her voice trembled with sorrow. The cave grew quiet as the little fox thought it over.
Moments later, the fox reappeared, gently holding the small dot in her mouth. The woman's eyes filled with tears as she saw her child again. With shaky hands, she took the tiny one and held it close to her heart.
"I owe you more than I can ever repay. By the name of Arlayna Fentris, the Goddess of Lightning, I swear it."
Her voice broke with emotion.
"Ask me anything you wish, and I will grant it."
The fox, still small and unsure, wasn't concerned about the goddess's title or power. Her only worry was her companion.
"Please... can I come with you?"
She asked, her voice cracking as tears fell down her cheeks.
"Don't split us up."
The goddess looked at the fox with compassion. She held out her hand, inviting the fox to step forward.
But just as the small fox jumped into her hand, a huge rock came crashing down, hitting the goddess.
With a swift motion, she took to the sky, searching for where the attack had come from. Then, in the distance, towering over the landscape, was a monstrous creature, 100 meters tall and 50 meters wide, looming in the island's center.

"You again,"
The goddess muttered under her breath, her voice thick with hatred.
"Cursed creature."
It was this beast that had kept her from her child before. Anger surged through her, and the rain intensified, turning into a violent storm as purple lightning began to strike the massive creature.
The creature roared, sending out six massive tentacles toward the goddess. But she was ready. With two enormous lightning swords in her hands, she sliced through the tentacles before they could reach her.
The severed tentacles turned into dark mud, quickly transforming into smaller monsters. The goddess decided it wasn't the time for a full confrontation. But before she left, she conjured a colossal lightning hammer and hurled it at the creature, sending it flying.
With a sly smile, she soared toward the Elven lights and disappeared into the night sky.
