Chapter 3
Betrayed Trust
Sophie shot Luna a hateful glare. Her eyes burnt with anger and hatred.
She pushed Luna so hard that she missed her step and fell.
"Ouch!"
Luna cried and dabbed her hurting feet gently.
"Why did you do that? What have I done to you?"
"Don't you dare ask me that! Instead you should go and ask your miserable parents in their grave for more explanations."
Those words hurt Luna badly. She stared at Sophie in distaste. She couldn't believe her best friend was saying these words to her.
No matter what her parents might have done to her, it wasn't enough reason to speak so badly of them even in their grave.
Sophie didn't stop there. She ignored the pitiable look on Luna's face.
She walked out of the cave and returned almost immediately, in a matter of seconds.
A strange man was behind her. His physique said so much about his personality.
Luna knew she was doomed for life, even without knowing what the mission of the man was.
She trembled at the sight of the man who had just walked in with Sophie. She immediately concluded within herself that he was one of Sophie's guards.
His muscles were large enough to freak anyone out of their minds.
"She is the one. Take her and do with her as you wish." Sophie pointed at Luna.
Luna's jaw dropped at those words that crawled out of Sophie's mouth. Now her fear had just been confirmed.
She didn't understand what Sophie meant by those words.
She squinted her eyes curiously. "Where… where is he taking me?" She stuttered.
Her questions were left unanswered. The man had a firm grip on her hair as he forced her up to her feet.
"Hmmm… she surely is the one I have been looking for. She will definitely make a good breeder." He smiled and roared in laughter.
Luna's curiosity piqued. She was confused by what the man had just said.
Either way, she knew whatever he had said was never going to favor her in any way. Hearing the word 'breeder', suddenly rang a bell.
"What?! No.. no! Please.. I can't be your breeder. I'm supposed to be mated to someone else. I still love him even though he decided not to believe me. Please let me be." Luna cried her eyes out.
The strange man snarled. He brought his head down at Luna. He sniffed her hair into his nostrils and heaved a deep sigh.
He clenched his hands together. "Oh really? Do you even have a choice? Why am I even listening to you, little brat? What do you know?" He blurted out. His voice thundered with anger.
He forcefully pulled hard on Luna's hair, dragging her out of the cave. Once they were at the door, he turned to face Sophie.
"You have indeed done a good job, girl. Let me go have a nice feast on her." He giggled and waved her goodbye.
Sophie smiled back at him. She was pleased by the way things were turning out in her favor.
'Now, no bitch would be here to compete with me on having Alpha Damien.' A wicked smile sprout out of her lips.
She summoned her guards together and they exited the woods at once.

The man threw Luna carelessly into the car. He didn't mind her hitting her head on the car's frame and getting herself injured.
His face was covered with an icy demeanor. Luna found it so difficult to look at him. She avoided his gaze for as long as she could.
The man said no word to her. He focused his gaze on the steering and on the busy road he passed through.
Soon the car came to a halt in front of a lavishly built mansion.
Reality dawned on Luna as soon as the car's engines stopped blaring. She didn't wait to be told before she understood that the mansion belonged to the strange man behind the steering.
She stole repeated glances at him as he turned off the car's ignition. He unlocked his own side of the car door, and alighted.
Luna hoped her life would be better as the thought of staying in a mansion as huge as that, crept in her mind.
The man hobbled over to the right side of the car. He flung the doors open for Luna to step out.
She kept admiring the beautiful presence before her, and soon, she forgot how she had ended up with the strange man.
She was so lost in fantasizing over the hugeness and height of the mansion that she didn't notice the strange man marching in.
"Will you stop staring like a lost sheep and get in here at once?!"
Her mind was instantly drawn back to reality. She turned to meet the aggressive face of the strange man.
Without a word, she marched in gently behind him.
Getting into the mansion, what she saw inside swept her out of her feet.
She began to question herself if that was indeed the same mansion she was admiring from afar.
She never knew her life was about to take an unexpected turn in the negative way.
"Sit down!"
Luna was frightened by how aggressive the man's voice echoed in the room.
She dared not hesitate to do as he had said. She sat sluggishly on one of the stools which stood before her.
Despite how comfortable the chair was, Luna seemed so uncomfortable sitting on it. She wasn't sure what to expect next from this strange man.
The man didn't wait to watch Luna do as he said. He left her at once and in a few minutes, returned with a group of other men, just as muscular as he was.
They encircled her, each of them peeking at her teary eyes with a smile.
The man who had brought her in sat beside her.
"I guess we should begin by introducing ourselves. What do you think?" His voice suddenly took on a friendly tone.
He no longer yelled at Luna. For a moment, Luna felt relieved by the new development. She felt happy once again.
But she was not so quick to display her show of happiness. Something in her made her believe that the man never meant well for her, no matter how friendly he sounded.
"My name is Luna White." A smile played on the man's lips. He exchanged glances with the other men he had come with.
"Did you hear the sound of that? What a beautiful name!" He giggled and turned to face Luna.
"Well, not to waste much of your time. My name is Lucas Meyer. I'm the Lycan King of Stoneheart pack."
He stretched his hand at Luna for a handshake. Luna received his hand reluctantly.
She was yet to understand why he had changed towards her overnight. Little did she know that the worst news was just about to hit her.
The men burst out in laughter.
Winston's gaze fixed on Luna. His face suddenly grew into a frown.
"Just in case you are not aware, your friend sold you to me for a penny. I never knew you were so worthless." He jeered at Luna. "Henceforth, you will be my breeder. I have no business mating with you. I just want to have easy access to you. I want to insert my dick in your pussy so hard that you beg me to stick it out. I want to insert my cum in your miserable pussy and watch you have my kids."
Luna's eyes narrowed in shock. She cursed Sophie quietly for putting her into this mess.
Winston's voice kept reverberating in her mind.
