Amari woke up to banging on her door, "Rise and shine!". She groaned, turning over in her cheap bed. She looked out the window and saw it was still dark outside. She groaned a bit, moving her hand to rub her face, but "Right... bandages." She settled for rubbing her eye and sighs, getting up and walking to the door. "What-" "It's time to start training! We are going to start with the runs up and down the mountain. Then, Wait, wait, slow down. What time is it? Because late time I checked, it's still dark outside." "It's good to start early! Now hurry up, we are losing sunlight!" "It's dark out. What sunlight are we losing-you know what? Give me a second." Amari closed the door before putting her satchel in the hiding spot. She sighs, "I'm going to have to get Milo to check on them... somehow." "Hurry up!" Aaron shouted, "It's only been 30 seconds!"

Amari was out of breath. "How... many... more...?" "You got 9 more to go!" Aaron said, jogging beside her, not breaking a sweat. "What- Are you sure I'm supposed to be doing this? Injury in all?" she asked, stumbling a bit. "Yep. Besides, you would be doing more if not for the doctor limiting it." Aaron said, "Now pick up the pace! And get use to the mountain because you're going to be hunting with us soon!" She groaned "Of course," she mumbled. "It's just...9 more," she stumbled again.

Amari was basically crawling on the ground. She had just finished the runs, and it was sunlight outside as she followed Aaron back to the base. "Wow! Wasn't that a good warm-up? "Warm up?!" Amari exclaimed, "Yep! Now you have to practice your spearmenship." She couldn't help but groan in annoyance. "Doing all this can't be good for my wound ..." Just then she remembered that she had to talk to Milo. "Hey uh do you know where Milo is? I need to ask him something." Aaron tiled his head. "I don't know where he is, but talking to your boyfriend can wait. You have training to compete after all!" "He's not my-" "If you see him around on our way back, you can ask him whatever you want. Now come one!"While walking back, Amari does see Milo. He seems to be patrolling. "Oh, there he is. I'll be right back," Amari said, walking up to Milo. "Fine but make it quick!" Aaron shouted, "Jeez, he does not have a lot of patience..." "Hey Milo!" Milo turns around, "Hey Amari- Whoa, are you okay? You seem out of breath and tired." "Yeah, I'm fine—well, I am tired. Aaron woke me up before sunrise to start training, so..." "Wait training? You need to be resting." "Apparently the doctor said I'm all good to start training for some reason. Anyway, you seem busy, so I'll make this quick." Just then Aaron yelled, "Hurry up!" "One second!" Amari yelled back, then turned back to Milo. "Listen whenever you have time. Can you check on something for me? It's pretty important to me." "Oh sure. What is it?" Amari leaned in and whispered in his ear, "It's my satchel. Just check on it every once in a while. Just until I'm officially done with my training." "Sure," Milo said. "Thank you. It's by..."

Amari swung her practice spear. "A little more force," Aaron said as Amari swung again. She doesn't know what number she's on nor how long she's been at it for, just that she feels like her arms are going to fall off. "Cut her some slack, boss. She looks like if she doesn't get some food and water in her, she might pass out." Amari turned her head and saw the gang member that welcomed her when she first came to the base. "Besides, we have to spar, remember?" "Oh yeah, fine." Aaron turned to her. "You can have a break, but make sure to watch the fight. Got it?" Amari nodded and sat on one of the big rocks, trying to get her breath back. As Aaron and the gang member walked away a bit, another gang member came and gave her some water and a piece of bread. "Thank you," she said as the person nodded and after smelling it to make sure it's not poisoned. She started eating it as the person said, "Don't feel like you're the only one training." Amari looked up a bit. "Everyone has their own training regimen based on their potential. So, you're not the only one training." Amari nodded before swallowing a piece of bread. "Who is that?" "Who?" "The one Aaron is about to spar with." "Oh, his name is Sebastion. One of the few people in the kingdom to have a sword."
