"Did you notice that there's something off about him today?" Zade asked as he watched what was happening in the office. He tried his best to not get caught but a part of him could tell that his boss was already aware of his intentions.
"What do you mean?" The other guy asked paying less attention to the office, instead he had his eyes closed as he tried to rest.
"Rick it's so obvious, can't you see?" Zade asked but then he too looked away from the office and focussed his attention to his friend. "First the boss made us drive all the way to her house this morning, and now he went out to get brunch" Zade stated, replaying all the events that happened this morning in his head.
"And so, maybe he needed her for something, she is his secretary after all" Rick answered showing that he was not interested in this topic, but knowing Zade, he could tell that the young man would still ask.
"And now he's having her eat brunch inside his office, at first I thought it was weird when he bought so much food but now I know why. He wanted to feed his little secretary" Zade spoke and his lips quirk up like he was amused with the whole thing.
"Mind your business Zade, you'll be in trouble if he finds out that you are spying on him" Rick said slowly as he straightened up, he had heard the sound of the elevator and he knew someone was coming.
"Jeez you are just like Josh, the both of you don't even care the slightest to know what's up with your boss. " Zade said clicking his tongue as he too straightened up from his former spot. He had a feeling that something was happening but no one was interested, he was the only one who was being intrusive and now they made it look like he was prying.
"Hey guys" Alexander greeted with a small smile on his face as he walked out of the elevator. He had two bags in his hand and then he gave it to the both of them.
"I drove pass the Chinese restaurant so I decided to get you guys something, you can take a break and eat a little, I'm going to be busy with Dylan for a while" Alexander spoke.
"Thank you Mr Chan" Zade said with a smile but then it changed to a teasing one as he added. " But I'm afraid the boss is a little busy right now to have visitors" Zade said and then he nudged his head towards Dylan's office.
Alex was a bit confused and so he turned and looked, his mouth formed an O as his eyes caught sight of the duo having brunch. A grin formed on his lips as he walked closer, but not too close that his presence would be noticed, he stayed there as he watched without interrupting.

Adeline was quiet for a while, she couldn't bring herself to eat, Mr Wayne had been kind enough to arrange the dish on the table, it looked tempting. He was sitting next to her and she could feel his heated gaze on her.
Adeline wanted to turn to him and tell him to quit staring at her like that but she couldn't, he was her boss and so she had to try to be comfortable with this. After giving herself some prep talk in her head, Adeline finally reached out and grabbed the Avocado toast. She took a small bite and she couldn't help but take another, the avocado toast was delicious.
Adeline finished the toast and then she picked a grape from the fruits pack and took a bite. She could still feel his gaze on her, it made her uncomfortable and then she realised something.
"Are you not eating?" Adeline asked after chumping down the grape, she turned her face and now she fixed her eyes on him. He had not touch a single food on the table, he just sat there looking gorgeous as he watched her.
"I can't" Dylan said honestly, he was still watching and then he noticed her swallow a lump in her throat before she asked the next question. That little action of her's had his body reacting differently again.
"Why....why not?" Adeline wanted to eat her words back immediately they left her lips, she knew she shouldn't be asking, she should just eat her meal and leave but her curiosity got the better of her. She noticed the grin that appeared on his lips when he heard her question and then that ever so perfect dimple appeared on the side of his face again. Adeline felt like she was going to fall and break her leg, he looked so handsome with the dimple and now she thought there really was no word to describe his man, calling him handsome was an understatement.
"My hands are sore, I had to carry these heavy bags by myself" Dylan explained as he reached his hand out and then his thumb gracefully brushed the side of her lips like he was trying to remove something.
Adeline felt herself freeze under his touch, she couldn't bring herself to snap out of it, it's like his hands had but her in a daze or maybe under some kind of spell.
"But your hands are working fine, right Adeline?" He asked as he brought his thumb to his lips and then he licked the crumbs of toast off his thumb. He did it like it was a very normal action of his. "So you'll feed me" He spoke and now he had gone back to being serious, the dimple had disappeared from the side of his cheek and he was back to his neutral look.
Adeline didn't know how to say no to this, infact it wasn't even a question, he didn't give her a choice, he just said the words and he expects her to obey him. His methods of charming were a bit different from others but they worked just fine.
Adeline gave a simple nod as she picked the breakfast burrito and then slowly she brought it closer to his lips, she placed her hand under his mouth just incase some crumbs fall off.
Dylan looked at her through his dark lashes, he had to stop himself from grinning in satisfaction, he took his time like he wanted to enjoy this moment before finally reaching out to take a bite.
"Well well, now this is a scene to walk into" Alex said with a smile on his face as he watched the duo. He could tell that he had startled the girl because he saw how she retreated her hands and placed the burrito back on the table. He glanced over at Dylan and noticed that the man wasn't happy with the interruption.
