Alan was furious. As the prestigious scion of a wealthy family, he had been respected by many since he was young. Since when had he ever been mistreated? This was the first time he had encountered these mishaps. In the past, even if he committed torturous activities, they could pay the victim's family and silence everyone.
There were some horrible bruises on his neck, and numerous shards of glass had punctured his hands. Alan cautiously rose from the dirt and looked at Ethan with anger in his eyes. "Don't forget that your bastard is still in my hands!"
Ethan asked, "Are you threatening me?"
"Yes! I am threatening you. I want you to give up everything! If you wish to collect your bastard's body, you may continue to act arrogant in front of me! Hahahaha! At most, we'll fight to the finish and die together!" Alan laughed hysterically.
Ethan, enraged, snorted harshly and sneered. "Fight to the end? I did not provoke you. You decided to screw with me first. I am giving you a chance now. If you hand over my daughter, I'll forgive you for what occurred today.
Alan laughs arrogantly. "Hmph, if you kneel before me now and beg me, I might decide to be benevolent and tell you where she is!"
Ethan's expression turned more darker. "Since you refuse to tell me, I'll find her myself!"
"Haha, that depends on whether you can do so!" Alan exclaimed angrily, holding his neck.
Suddenly, shrieks rang out from the bar downstairs. Soon, a big man in a dark green military uniform entered the private area. As soon as he noticed Ethan, he gave a conventional military salute. "Ethan, your brothers are all present. We've come to follow your directions!"
Ethan bowed slightly and said sincerely, "Everyone, search carefully. Even if you must dig three feet into the ground to demolish this pub, you must find a six-year-old girl!"
"Yes!" The man in the military uniform acknowledged before turning around to disperse.
Alan immediately became enraged. "Stop! Who gave you the audacity to search my bar? The Carrolls own this land!"
Who are these folks?
It was illegal to own military-grade weaponry, but all these folks had them!
They thoroughly examined each wall and floor for gaps and contraptions. They are doing the search meticulously.
Sophia, however, remained missing despite an extensive search. They did, however, discover some illicit things stashed in the bar.
Alan was so nervous that he broke out in a sweat, but he dared not come forward to stop them.
Meanwhile, Luisa had quietly gone to the room's door. When she looked outside and saw many soldiers and military weaponry, she gasped, and her legs turned to jelly. Shaking and trembling, she attempted to return to her feet and hide in a corner.
On the other hand, Dylan was aware of Luisa's plans and quickly grabbed her hair with one hand before tugging her toward Ethan.
"Please, spare me! Spare me, it stings!" Luisa begged for forgiveness aloud and seemed to be pathetic. But she couldn't obtain any pity from the males around her. They are fully aware of what she did to Sophia. Her intentions were already unmasked a long time ago.
Alan had no time for her, and Ethan and Dylan were disgusted with her. They even despised her deeply. If only they could kill her on the spot, they would. But they still need to find Sophia.
Ethan lowered his head and stared coldly at Luisa, who slept beside his feet. "You were the one who snatched my daughter from kindergarten, correct? Tell me where you hid Sophia.
Luisa felt overcome with regret. Ethan and the others he brought terrified her.
"Um... Ethan, I was extremely obsessed and confused then and took Sophia away. But I gave her to Mr. Carroll. I'm not sure where she is now." Luisa sobbed and hugged Ethan's leg.
Ethan angrily kicked her away, barking, "There's a limit to my patience." If you still refuse to tell me the truth, don't blame me for being cruel!"
He picked up a piece of shattered glass near his feet and pushed the sharp end on Luisa's face.
Luisa, terrified and pallid, shouted and fled desperately. Dylan, on the other hand, seized her hair and held her in place, making it impossible for her to escape.
Luisa burst into tears after being forced to raise her head and feel the jagged glass shard touch her face. "No, no! Do not scratch my face, Ethan! Everything I have just mentioned is true. I need to find out where Sophia is right now. Alan Carroll dispatched someone to take her away. "Ethan, as Anastasia's cousin, please spare me this time! I don't even know where she's been taken!" I will never go against you or do anything like this again! Please, I apologize severely. I know my mistakes now." Luisa was weeping bitterly, tears and mucous all over her face, and appeared highly distraught and sad.
Ethan kicked Luisa hard and yelled angrily, "Trust you to have the audacity to suggest Anastasia is your cousin. Have you ever considered yourself Sophia's aunt while devising a plan to kidnap my daughter from kindergarten? She's only six years old, and you're okay with leaving her with strangers you don't know, with no consideration for where she'll go or how she'll be treated! "You are just scum! "You had previously caused problems for us, but I excused you because you are Anastasia's cousin. However, you showed no regret and instead worsened the situation. You even abducted Sophia and threatened Charlotte, which is both awful and inhumane! You don't deserve to be called Anastasia's cousin.
"Initially, I assumed that if you could safely return Sophia, I would give you one last chance and let you off the hook.
Unfortunately, you do not know where she is, so you are now absolutely worthless.
Ethan's voice grew colder as he said. His voice got increasingly terrifying to Luisa, and when he finished the sentence, she felt as if she was about to die!
