Chereads / The Dauntless Son-in-Law Herculean Knight: Ethan Knight / Chapter 104 - What Exactly Happened?

Chapter 104 - What Exactly Happened?

Ethan repeated the inquiry monotonously, his emotions unreadable.

However, Wilcon was terrified when he heard it.

He quickly shook his head, like a rattle drum, and refused. "I wouldn't dare! I-I was joking. No, just kidding! I wouldn't dare! T-that was a slip of the tongue!"

"Oh?" "You just said you want to break my arm and leg, didn't you?" Ethan took a quick peek at Wilcon.

Wilcon burst into a cold sweat and wished he could slap himself. "I enjoy talking gibberish. "Do not take it personally! Do not be mistaken by my gibberish Mr. Knight!"

Charlotte was both astonished and comforted when she saw how afraid Wilcon was. She darted a glimpse at Ethan before simply looking at the hand he was holding. Her heart was filled with joy and a deep sense of pride.

"Well, your wife just slapped my sister-in-law and mother-in-law, and she even took her bracelet away. What are you planning to do about it?"

Ethan's voice became quiet, but Wilcon thought he sounded like a devil. A devil that anytime will devour him.

Now that Ethan was clearly in a stronger position than him, it was up to him to settle his differences with him.

Wilcon gritted his teeth and tugged Patricia over from the side. Without hesitation, he slapped her twice, making her swollen face much redder.

"Bitch! It's entirely your fault! Hurry and apologize to Mr. Knight!" Wilcon kicked Patricia's knee, prompting her to fall to her knees quickly. Without delay, she will need to ask for forgiveness.

Patricia generally took advantage of Wilcon's strength to toss her weight around. She was occasionally flirtatious with him as well. If he hit her in normal circumstances, she would undoubtedly cry and throw a tantrum.

However, now that he was furious and appeared to want to murder her, she was horrified and rushed to apologize to Ethan. She begged for compassion, saying, "I am sorry! Mr. Knight, that is entirely my fault. I should not have been so disrespectful or contacted someone to exact revenge on you. "Please forgive me!"

Patricia's chubby face was red and puffy; tears streamed down it. Her hair was tangled, and she was kneeling on the ground, pleading with tears. She seemed highly distressed. She seemed pitiful at the onset.

Ethan was not the sort to use his authority to bully others. She didn't benefit from them either.

"What happened between you just now?" "How did the fight begin?" Ethan asked.

Patricia reddened instantly, appearing conflicted and at a loss for words.

When Wilcon saw this, he kicked her again. He said, "Mr. Knight is asking you a question. Hurry up and tell him the truth."

Patricia replied nervously, "I noticed your mother-in-law's bracelet in the bathroom just now... and I thought it was quite nice. I liked it, so I wanted to buy it from her. But she was unwilling to sell it to me. She even called me a "fat bitch" and suggested the bracelet would look bad on me. I was furious and forced her to knock on me. My bracelet broke, so I made her make up for it with hers. "We then got into a fight."

Patricia felt her face flaming up, partially because she had been slapped and partly because she was embarrassed to apologize.

After hearing Patricia's story, Wilcon's expression went dismal, and he wanted to kick her a few times. His wife acted so highly even though she was in the wrong.

The Wilcons were a well-known family in Emerald Coast County and held an extensive collection of expensive jewelry. Nonetheless, Nero Wilcon's wife attempted to defraud another woman out of her jewelry. It was a great embarrassment for the family!

Wilcon was experiencing a burning sensation in his face at this time. He felt humiliated! Knowing the truth is a humiliating truth!

He felt embarrassed because of the strange looks around him.

"You bitch!" Have I not bought you any bracelets or jewelry? I spend millions of dollars on you each year. Are you so superficial? You sought to take someone else's belongings simply because you liked it. What a scumbag! You're embarrassing!"

Wilcon was so enraged that he slapped Patricia's head several times more, prompting her to wail out.

Ethan frowned. "That's enough."

Only then did Wilcon pause and add, "Mr. Knight, I neglected to take her hand, which is why she did such a thing. I'm truly sorry. "I'll make sure she apologizes to your mother-in-law!"

Ethan gave him a chilly look before taking Charlotte away without saying anything further.

Nero instantly grabbed Patricia, who was terrified, and, sitting still on the ground, followed Ethan.

The gang of big men was still writhing and moaning on the ground, but the onlookers had fled far away.

Meanwhile, Claudia appeared agitated after returning to the room alone.

Anastasia couldn't help but inquire anxiously, "Mom, what just happened? Where are Ethan and Charlotte? Why didn't they return with you?

Claudia acted like nothing had happened: "They just went to foot the bill and told us to wait for them at the entrance."

Anastasia did not believe it. "Mom, you practically ate nothing. "Why did they pay the bill so quickly?"

Claudia waved her hand furiously. "I'm full." Let us hurry up and leave!" While speaking, she quickly attempted to grasp Anastasia and Sophia. She even peeked at the door to the private room from time to time, fearing those people would charge in.

Anastasia felt increasingly suspicious of her mother's behavior!

"No, mom. Where exactly have they gone? I'll phone them and ask. Anastasia took her phone from her handbag and dialed Charlotte and Ethan.

"I warned you they were waiting for us outside! "Why do you need to call them?" Claudia's expression changed dramatically as she attempted to steal Anastasia's phone.

Suddenly, the door to the private room opened, and Ethan and Charlotte entered.

Claudia wanted to ask them about it because they were unharmed and did not appear to have been battered. But then she noticed Nero Wilcon and Patricia Fabian following them inside!

"Oh my goodness!" Claudia began to tremble with fear. She jumped up and huddled behind Anastasia, muttering, "Don't come over!"

Claudia instantly extended her hand and pointed at Ethan. "This good-for-nothing is the problem! If you want to settle a score, go to him. This has nothing to do with me! I'm innocent!"

Anastasia would be a fool if she didn't recognize something was wrong. She clutched Sophia tightly and inquired, "What exactly happened? Why are there people coming over?"
