Ferry approached Anastasia with a gentlemanly smile, holding out a polite hand. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Miss Reed. I'm Ferry Mason from Los Angeles, and my father, Shaun Mason, is the General Manager of the Bright Corporation. Have you heard of us?
Ferry's smile was restrained and haughty. After all, the Masons were a prominent family with a strong reputation. He wanted to flaunt it to Anastasia.
However, Anastasia stated indifferently, "I'm ignorant. I've never heard of you or your father."
She disregarded Ferry's effort to shake her hand and turned to enter the hotel with Ethan.
Ferry was uncomfortable as his hand hung in mid-air. Ethan glared at him harshly before entering with Anastasia.
After meeting Ferry Mason twice, Ethan observed a tremendous yearning and ambition in his eyes as he looked at Anastasia. This guy is looking for a beating.
He had earlier told Gideon Boysen not to let any Masons' businesses establish in Emerald Coast County. However, it appeared that they were still contentedly traveling around Emerald Coast County.
Luisa was outraged by Anastasia and Ethan's disregard for Ferry. "Ferry! They were overboard! How can they ignore you? I must teach her a lesson!"
Ferry grabbed her wrist just as she was going to rush toward Anastasia, stopping her. "Wait! Do not provoke her. It's alright."
Luisa pouted fiercely and screamed, "Ferry, are you defending that bitch Anastasia Reed? You do not have a crush on her. I told you, this woman came to her current position by despicable means!"
He grabbed her hand and laughed. "Why do I have a crush on her? I only felt you should still be kind to her because she is now the General Manager of Spark Enterprises and also your cousin. You are the only one I adore. Have you learned how I've treated you over the last few days?
While speaking, Ferry flirtatiously pinched Luisa's waist.
"Ah, you are so annoying! We are outside!" Luisa gazed at Ferry coquettishly as she cuddled into his arms.
These days, they have spent much time together and gone all the way. They were in the honeymoon stage of their relationship.
Ferry grinned casually, knowing that persuading Luisa was simple because he could tell she was after his money. She'd be subservient to him again once he murmured a few words to convince her and promised to marry her in Los Angeles.
Ferry was a romance expert, which he had long perfected. To him, persuading Luisa is a peanut task.
He soon entered the hotel, carrying Luisa in his arms.
Ethan and Anastasia had already met with Claudia, Charlotte, and Sophia in the private room. Except for Charles, everyone was present.
Sophia pounced on them as soon as they walked in, eagerly holding their hands and leading them to their seats.
Charlotte, pretending to be envious, mocked Sofia with pouted lips, "You're so naughty. You forgot about me when you saw your father and mother. I'm hurt."
Sophia grinned nervously before hurrying forward to kiss Charlotte's face.
Claudia was dressed ostentatiously today. She had purposefully arranged her hair at a local salon. She wore a dark green dress and a high-quality diamond bracelet.
This diamond bracelet was not the one Brendan gave her yesterday but one of the things Ethan purchased at the auction.
At the moment, Ethan intends to give Anastasia all his costly jewelry. Unfortunately, she declined.
Ethan offered Claudia a bracelet to silence her negative comments.
Claudia was fantastic when she was silent. After all, she needed strong genes to give birth to Anastasia and Charlotte, two stunning daughters.
Unfortunately, Claudia constantly cursed or clashed with someone, which harmed her image.
Just as they were having fun and playing, someone knocked on the door to the private room.
Missing it for the service personnel, Charlotte responded, "Come in."
To their amazement, Luisa Thorn and Ferry Mason, whom Ethan and Anastasia had met at the entryway, pushed open the door to the private room.
Charlotte asked hostilely, "What are you two doing here?"
She had always loathed Luisa, her cousin who had repeatedly humiliated and insulted her since they were toddlers. Luisa enjoyed calling Charlotte an outsider and a shameless bastard. She always makes fun of her whenever they see each other. Thus, Charlotte always try to find ways not to play with Luisa.
Charlotte would cry after being teased and reprimanded by her.
Luisa didn't bother to be courteous and dragged Ferry to the table. "What a coincidence. Ferry and I were here for lunch today and ran into Anastasia at the entryway. We'd come over and join you for lunch. The more the merrier!"
She gave Ferry a charming look and a coy smile. "Oh, yes, I almost forgot to introduce you. This is my lover, Ferry Mason, the heir of the legendary Mason Family of Los Angeles. We're getting engaged soon. Today's meal is on us! Let's eat and have fun!"
Charlotte pursed her lips in disgust as Luisa flaunted her man. "No, thanks. We can still afford to pay for food. We don't want you to worry about it! Besides, it's our family lunch. Why are you interfering? I do not want to dine with you. I lose my hunger when I see your face! Besides, don't pretend that we are family because we are not. You can go outside and find your own room to eat"
"You!" Luisa was outraged because Charlotte's statements made her uncomfortable in front of Ferry.
Luisa couldn't help but tug on Ferry's garments to make him stand up for her. She, too, despised them, and if Ferry hadn't claimed he wanted to come and build an excellent relationship with them, she would not have go to their private room. Their mere presence makes her stomach tumbling!
Unfortunately, Luisa's wishes were not fulfilled. Ferry's gaze was fixed on the gorgeous Reed sisters. How did he find the time to worry about Luisa? These two sisters are really gorgeous, way beyond Luisa's charm.
Ethan scowled coldly at Ferry while Anastasia and Charlotte were as annoyed by the unwelcome guests. Claudia was the only one who looked at Ferry with a satisfied expression after learning about his family background.
Ferry Mason is gorgeous and has a decent appearance. Although I'm not sure about his family, he's undoubtedly the scion of a wealthy family, which makes him an excellent choice for a son-in-law. It will be a brilliant idea to let Anastasia or Charlotte marry him. Him being wealthy is a good thing for her daughters.
Claudia had long neglected Ferry's lover, Luisa Thorn. She was not bothered by her presence as if looking at a display mannequin. Claudia focused his attention on Ferry.
