Ethan swiftly snatched Thaddeus Reed by the throat as he materialized at the top of the steps.
As a result of his extreme shock, Thaddeus made several futile attempts to pry Ethan's hand away.
"Y-you..." Ethan clenched his fist around his neck and cut him off the minute he began to speak.
Ethan stared icy-coldly at Thaddeus's face as it reddened by the second. "Let me clarify things for you. The Reed family would perish with Charlotte if anything were to happen to her.
Thaddeus had never before experienced the natural fear of death. He felt his life was in jeopardy as he faced the young man with a serious expression on his face.
In Thaddeus's hazy eyes, a flicker of terror was discernible!
With a flick of his wrist, Ethan sent Thaddeus crashing like a rag doll into the wall.
Before Thaddeus could regain his breath, he coughed hard many times while covering his throat with his palm.
With hate and terror visible in his eyes, he turned to Ethan.
When Ethan stole a quick glimpse in his direction, Thaddeus averted his eyes in terror. "I-I don't know where Brendan is."
"Just give him a call and urge him to make sure Charlotte gets back safely. I will murder him if she gets hurt!"
"How dare you!" An angry-looking woman stood at the entrance and looked at Ethan. "If a cheap person like you dares to touch Brendan, I'll kill you..."
Dylan kicked her down the steps and sent her flying before she could complete her sentence. Without saying a word, she immediately passed out.
"Your rudeness toward Ethan is outrageous. I want you dead!" Dylan let forth a ferocious howl.
Dylan would never tolerate any disrespect toward Ethan since Ethan was god in his heart.
At this very moment, this woman would have met her demise had Ethan not earlier warned him not to murder.
They all stared at Ethan in terror as Dylan's ferocity immediately silenced everyone, still wishing to resist.
As Thaddeus studied Ethan's expressionless face, he choked on his saliva and fumbled with his phone to dial Brendan's number.

Currently, Brendan can be seen sitting in a bar named "Pegasus" and making an obscene gesture toward a muscular man. Charlotte, who is unconscious, lies on the couch next to them.
"Mr. Voss, my cousin is quite pretty, isn't she?" Asking with a submissive smile, Brendan inquired.
The individual known as Mr. Voss reached out and squeezed Charlotte's face. He nodded in contentment as he felt the softness of her skin. She is quite gorgeous. However, you're pretty vicious, aren't you? Your cousin is something you're prepared to part with.
"Listen up, Mr. Voss; this is all on you." Brendan quickly added, "This girl is stubborn, and I'm simply trying to teach her a lesson."
Instead of having Mr. Voss bed Charlotte, he would have done it himself if it hadn't been because they were technically cousins by name—and it would have been wrong if the word had gotten out.
Anyway, all he wanted to do was film Charlotte in an explicit setting and then use the footage to pressure her into begging the Monroes to help him.
"Hmm, that's not awful. No need to fret." Voss pretended to be friendly and promised to grant him future advantages: "As long as this girl serves me well tonight."
"Very well, I am incredibly grateful, Mr. Voss! Okay, then, I will not stand in your way. Then, later on, send me the movies and images," Brendan exclaimed with delight.
"Hurry up and get lost." He then hastened to undress Charlotte after stating this.
Unexpectedly, Charlotte started to gag and vomit.
Having had a substantial amount of alcohol in the bar on her own, she passed out while reclining on the couch. She ruined her clothes and filled the entire private room with the pungent smell of puke.
"Shit!" In his frustration, Voss frantically dove.
"Rest assured, Mr. Voss. Without further ado, I will arrange for someone to come and clean her up. Leave this room immediately. I will ensure that she is transferred to the new room without delay! Brendan dispatched two service staff in a flash to remove Charlotte for cleaning.
Precisely at this second, Thaddeus called him.
"What happened to you, Brendan? Could you please explain what you did to Charlotte? Get her back quickly!" Upon receiving the call, Thaddeus quickly raised his voice.
Meanwhile, Brendan enthusiastically said, "Grandpa, don't worry!" I will finish the assignment you have given me without delay. "I'll have Charlotte beg the Monroes!"
Ethan's eyes became frigid as Brendan's comments chilled Thaddeus's spine.
"You idiot! Please return her immediately. Are you paying attention? Otherwise, we're both doomed to a terrible end!" To the very top of his voice, Thaddeus yelled out.
Thaddeus felt foreboding when Ethan knocked on his door to ask about Brendan and Charlotte's location.
Thaddeus was convinced that Ethan would genuinely murder Brendan if Brendan committed a truly horrific act against them.
That his grandson hadn't done something peculiar yet was all that Thaddeus could pray for at this moment of genuine terror.
Nevertheless, Brendan was vehemently outraged. Mr. Voss was already standing by when he reached the pivotal part of his strategy. He could not just return Charlotte home.
"Grandpa, you should know that Charlotte is at the Pegasus with Mr. Voss. Her return for tonight is canceled. Leave it alone. In any case, I will undoubtedly finish the assignment and convince her to visit the Monroes!" Immediately after saying this, Brendan ended the call without waiting for Thaddeus to finish.
"Hello, B-Brendan! Brendan!" Thaddeus repeatedly yelled into the phone, trying to reach him again. Sadly, Brendan ended the call immediately, so he could not contact him.
Physically, Thaddeus trembled. The terrible vibe emanating from Ethan was palpable to him.
"Since your grandson is seeking his death, then you can't blame me." As he walked away, Ethan pivoted.
"Wait!" You should release Brendan. He was still at his prime and young age." Thaddeus yelled out in a panic
"Insensible?" With an icy cold voice, Ethan continued after turning around. "He's much older than Charlotte and Anastasia!"
"If anything happens to Charlotte, wait to collect his corpse!"
Dylan escorted Ethan out of the Reeds' house without pausing to hear Thaddeus's foolishness.
"Head to the Pegasus as fast as you can!" Ethan instructed Dylan after hopping into the car.
"Yes, Ethan!"
The jet-black Jaguar vanished into the night as quickly as a cheetah.
