Chereads / WANGDAO : Evil God / Chapter 5 - Lemone's Wrath

Chapter 5 - Lemone's Wrath

Exteriors - Aeternum Village - Day

Lemone follows the village chief in silence, brooding over her humiliation. He clenches his fists, rage boiling within him.

Dark Entity: (Laughing in his head) "Ah, my little demon, you seem very depressed. It seems that these villagers have given you a good lesson in humility."

Lemone ignores the mockery of the dark entity. He's too angry to care about her jokes.

Lemone: (In her head) "I can't contain myself anymore. I have to kill these guards. They humiliated me, they ridiculed me, and I will not go unpunished."

Dark Entity: (Continuing to laugh) "Ah, anger is consuming you, my little demon. It's perfect. Use that rage, let it guide you. Show these villagers what you can do."

Lemone closes her eyes and focuses on her anger. He feels a dark energy bubbling within him, a power he has never felt before.

Lemone: (In her head) "I'll make them suffer. I'll make them regret humiliating me."

The village chief stops in front of a small house and turns towards Lemone.

Village Chief: "Here is your accommodation for the night, stranger. Here you will find everything you need to rest."

Lemone thanks him and enters the house. He closes the door behind him and finds himself alone.

Lemone: (In her head) "It's time. I'm going to kill them."

He opens the door and walks towards the village square, where the two guards are still patrolling.

Lemone watches the first guard from the shadows. He is sitting on a bench, eating a piece of bread. This is his chance.

Lemone: (In her head) "I must lure him into the forest. There he will be alone and vulnerable."

Lemone thinks of a plan. He must use his intelligence and cunning to fool the guard.

Lemone: (In his head) "If I throw a rock in the forest, he'll definitely go see what's going on. But he'll be suspicious if he sees me running away."

He needs a diversion. He sees an apple on the ground and has an idea.

Lemone: (In her head) "I'll use the apple as bait. I'll throw it into the forest and when the guard goes to get it, I'll hide behind a tree."

Lemone picks up the apple and throws it forcefully into the forest. The guard hears the noise and immediately gets up.

Guard: (Intrigued) "What was that?"

He looks around, but sees nothing. He then decides to go into the forest to see what is happening.

Lemone: (In her head) "Great, it works. Now I have to hide."

Lemone slips behind a large tree and waits for the guard to approach.

Lemone: (In his head) "I have to calculate the perfect moment to attack him. He has to be far enough from the village square so that no one can hear him scream."

Lemone uses her knowledge of mathematics to calculate the distance and time it will take for the guard to reach a specific point in the forest.

Lemone: (In his head) "According to my calculations, he should be there in 30 seconds. Now is the time to attack him."

The guard arrives at the location planned by Lemone. He bends down to pick up the apple, without realizing the danger awaiting him.

Lemone: (Coming out of hiding) "Die!"

Lemone jumps on the guard and stabs him in the back. The guard collapses, dead instantly.

Lemone: (In her head) "Mission accomplished. One less guard."

Lemone drags the guard's body into the depths of the forest and hides it under a pile of leaves. He then returns to the village, satisfied with his work.

Interiors - Aeternum Village House - Night

Lemone sits in his room, thinking about his plan to assassinate the second guard. He opens his virtual interface and consults his statistics.

Lemone: (Smiling) "Ah, finally some good news! I gained 3 intelligence points after killing the first guard. My intelligence is now 23!"

He looks at the rest of his stats.

Lemone: (Sighing) "My strength is still low, and my stamina isn't great either. But at least I'm fast and smart. It's enough to get by."

Lemone focuses on her plan for the second guard. He knows he will have to be even more careful this time, because the second guard might have suspicions.

Lemone: (In her head) "I have to use a different approach. I can't lure him into the forest the same way."

He thought for several minutes, searching for a solution. Suddenly, an idea comes to him.

Lemone: (Smiling) "Perfect! This plan is even better than the first."

Lemone gets up and prepares to put her plan into action.

Lemone sits at his table, a sheet of paper in front of him. He outlines a detailed plan to assassinate the second guard.

Lemone: (In his head) "I need to identify the guard's weak points first. He's probably more cautious than his colleague, so I can't lure him into a trap in the same way."

Lemone thinks about the guard's habits, his movements, his psychological flaws. He uses his knowledge of psychology to create an accurate profile of the guard.

Lemone: (On his paper) "Guard's weaknesses: suspicious, vigilant, sensitive to distractions."

It then analyzes the different possible scenarios and calculates the probabilities of success for each of them.

Lemone: (On his paper) "Plan A: Direct attack - Probability of success: 30% - High risk of alerting the villagers."

Lemone: (On his paper) "Plan B: Poisoning - Probability of success: 50% - Difficult to obtain poison and administer it to the guard without arousing suspicion."

Lemone: (On his paper) "Plan C: Elaborate trap - Probability of success: 70% - Requires time and resources, but offers the highest chance of success."

Lemone chooses Plan C. It is the most complex, but it is also the most effective.

Lemone: (In her head) "I must create an elaborate trap that will lure the guard without arousing his suspicion. It must be precise, effective and silent."

Lemone uses his knowledge of mathematics and physics to design the trap. It creates a virtual 3D plan on its virtual interface, visualizing every detail of the trap and simulating its operation.

Lemone: (On his virtual interface) "The guard will be attracted to the bait placed at this precise location. When he approaches, a poison dart will automatically fire, killing him instantly."

Lemone refines his plan for hours, calculating every variable, every risk, every possibility. He is determined to leave nothing to chance.

Lemone: (In her head) "This plan is perfect. There's no way it's going to fail."

The next morning, Lemone puts her plan into action. He places the bait in the forest and waits for the guard to arrive.
