"Mr Zane?" Anthony wondered why Mr. Zane would urgently request to speak with him.
"Yes. He says it's important." His secretary responded.
"Alright. Put me on to him." Anthony ordered his secretary.
"Hello, Mr. Zane," Anthony said, trying to sound calm.
"Anthony," Mr. Zane's voice was cold, sharper than usual.
"I hope all of well. I was informed tmyo wanted to speak with me urgently." Anthony said.
"Yes Anthony, i wanted to inform you directly that my company will no longer be needing your services."
Anthony's heart skipped a beat. He gripped the phone tighter, feeling a sudden wave of panic. "What? Mr. Zane, why? Have we done something wrong?"
There was a pause on the other end of the line, and Anthony could almost hear Mr. Zane's hesitation. "It's not about what you've done, Anthony. It's just… we've decided to go in a different direction. Nothing personal."
