The conversation moved on to more mundane topics like hobbies and latest gist in town.
"I should invite you one of these days to my golf course." Mr Ellison told Anthony.
"Sure sir, I'll take you up on that offer." Anthony repelled. For some reasons he felt more relieved around them and was optimistic about the deal going In his favour.
"We should take our leave now." Anthony said after they were done with the conversation.
"Sure, Mr. Gordon. Thank you for your time. I'll make sure to reach out to you about the our decision." Mr. Ellison said as Anthony prepared to leave.
"Thank you sir, looking forward to a positive response." Anthony replied.
Anthony and Claire bade the Ellison's goodbye before leaving the house.
The next morning, Anthony sat in his office, the anticipation almost palpable. He had done everything he could to prove his integrity and commitment to the Ellisons. Now, it was just a matter of waiting for their decision.
