A resounding explosion rang through the area, echoing as a blurry figure suddenly appeared behind Lassen.
Lassen whipped his head around, his body twisting in tandem as his hands instinctively rose to shield his face.
Not even a moment later, a large fist connected with his forearms.
*Ugh! Who is this?* Lassen wondered as he grunted inwardly. He staggered back a few metres before skidding to a halt. Lassen glanced at his hands—they were slightly numb.
*Just from a single punch? He might be stronger than Ichor!*
Lassen's eyes narrowed as they rose to lock onto the figure before him.
Peep looked at the new arrival, hope in her eyes as she stared at him.
It was an aged man, appearing to be in his late forties. He had wild, untamed grey hair and a well-chiselled jaw. His entire being exuded a wild aura, making Lassen's eyes narrow even more.
