Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 : A Night to Remember

The evening wore on, with laughter and stories flowing like the coffee they sipped. Black Heavens shared tales of their most daring quests, and the kids listened with wide eyes and wonder.

Raven, the party leader, smiled at the kids. " let's introduce ourselves properly. I'm Raven, a 6th circle mage and leader of Black Heavens."

Hiiro, the swordman, stepped forward. "I'm Hiiro, a swordman and 5th star aura knight. Nice to meet you all."

Lilia, the dark mage, introduced herself next. "I'm Lilia, a dark mage and 5th circle mage. Don't let my appearance fool you, I'm quite friendly once you get to know me."

Gilbert, one of the 4th star aura knights, grinned. "I'm Gilbert, a 4th star aura knight and the team's resident prankster. Don't worry, I won't play any tricks on you... yet."

Lufe, the other 4th star aura knight, chuckled. "And I'm Lufe, also a 4th star aura knight. I'm the team's strategist and Gilbert's partner in crime."

The kids nodded, taking in the introductions. "Nice to meet you all," they said in unison.

Paul, feeling a sense of excitement, introduced himself and his friends. "I'm Paul, and these are my friends: Lyrien, Kael, and Kaira."

The members of Black Heavens nodded, smiling. "Nice to meet you all," Raven said.

Raven raises her glass of wine. "To new friends and adventures!"

Hiiro, Lilia, Gilbert, and Lufe clink their glasses together, filled with various types of alcohol.

Paul, Lyrien, Kael, and Kaira smile, holding up their glasses of lemon juice. "To new friends and adventures!"

The two groups take a sip, savoring the moment. The kids' eyes widen as they listen to Black Heavens' tales of adventure, their imaginations running wild.

Paul's eyes sparkle with curiosity. "Raven, who's the strongest person in the world right now?"

Raven smiles, taking a sip of her wine. "Well, there are many powerful swordsmasters like Hiiro here, and skilled mages like Lilia. But if I had to name one person... it would be Aura, the Black Swordsman."

The kids' eyes widen in awe. "Aura? The Black Swordsman?" Lyrien repeats, his voice filled with reverence.

Raven nods. "Yes, Aura is a force to be reckoned with. Their strength and skill are unmatched, and their legend has inspired many."

Hiiro and Lilia nod in agreement, their faces serious. Gilbert and Lufe exchange a look, their eyes gleaming with excitement.

Kael's eyes shine with determination. "I want to meet Aura one day!"

Raven chuckles. "Maybe someday, Kael. But for now, let's focus on our own adventure tomorrow!"

Hiiro's eyes gleam with admiration. "Aura, the Black Swordsman, is an 8th Aura Knight, a true legend in our world. He has defeated countless archmages and knights, and have even slain many dragons single-handedly."

The kids' jaws drop in awe, their eyes wide with wonder. "Dragons?!" Kael repeats, his voice barely above a whisper.

Raven nods. "Yes, Aura's strength and skill are unparalleled. He is a true hero, and his name is whispered in reverence throughout the land."

Hiiro and Lilia exchange a look, their faces filled with respect. Gilbert and Lufe grin, their eyes shining with excitement.

Paul's eyes burn with determination. "I want to be like Aura one day!" he declares, his voice filled with conviction.

Raven smiles, her eyes warm with encouragement. "Maybe someday, Paul."

Paul's curiosity is still burning. "And who is the strongest person in history?"

The members of Black Heavens look at each other and burst out laughing.

Raven grins mischievously. "Oh, that's an easy one! It's Shadow, from 200 years ago."

Hiiro nods in agreement. "Yes, Shadow was a force to be reckoned with. They single-handedly destroyed four kingdoms at the time."

Lilia's eyes sparkle with excitement. "Their strength and skill were unmatched. They were a true legend in their own time."

Gilbert and Lufe chuckle, shaking their heads in awe. "Shadow was a one-person army," Gilbert says.

Paul's eyes widen in amazement. "Four kingdoms? That's incredible!"

Raven nods. "Yes, Shadow's legacy has inspired many, including us. We strive to be as strong and legendary as they were."

(The scene fades to black, the kids still in awe of the tales of Shadow's heroics)

Hiiro leans in, a hint of excitement in his voice. "Shadow was a great mage, but their element is still unknown. Some say they wielded black hole magic, capable of absorbing and manipulating the very fabric of space and time."

The kids' eyes widen in awe, their imaginations running wild with the possibilities.

Raven nods, a hint of reverence in her voice. "Shadow's powers were so vast, they could bend reality to their will. Their legacy has inspired generations of mages and warriors alike."

Lilia's eyes sparkle with curiosity. "Some say Shadow's magic was so powerful, it warped the fabric of reality, creating portals to other dimensions.Shadow's mana circle was never revealed. It's said that he is as powerful as god and thus , he has no circle"

Gilbert and Lufe exchange a look, their faces filled with excitement. "Imagine the possibilities," Gilbert says, his voice barely above a whisper.

Kaira's eyes shine with determination. "I want to learn more about Shadow's magic. Maybe one day, I can wield such power too."

Hiiro smiles, his eyes warm with encouragement. "The path to greatness is never easy, but with dedication and hard work, anything is possible."

Raven's eyes sparkle with excitement. "I almost forgot to mention, a special tournament is coming to town soon. It's a fighting tournament for children under 15, and both mages and swordsmen can participate."

The kids' eyes widen with interest. "That sounds amazing!" Lyrien exclaims.

Raven nods. "Yes, it's a great opportunity to showcase your skills. And, I might add, many nobles will be attending to watch the tournament."

Hiiro grins. "It's a chance to make a name for yourself, and maybe even catch the eye of a noble sponsor."

Raven's gaze falls on Paul and Kaira. "I sense that you two have some magical potential. Paul and Kaira , you both have mana , it's impressive. You should both consider participating."

Paul's eyes light up. "Really? You think we could do it?"

Raven nods. "I do. You both have a natural talent that, with some training, could take you far."

Kaira's face sets in determination. "I'm in. I want to show everyone what I can do."

Paul grins. "Me too. Let's do it!"

The other kids nod in agreement, their faces filled with excitement and determination.

Kael's eyes gleam with enthusiasm. "Count me in, I'm definitely participating!"

Lyrien nods, his face set in determination. "I'm in too. I want to test my skills against the best."

Raven smiles, impressed by their eagerness. "Excellent! With your talents, I have no doubt you'll make a significant impact in the tournament."

Hiiro chuckles. "Just remember, it's not just about winning. It's about learning, growing, and having fun."

Lilia nods in agreement. "And who knows, you might even make some new friends along the way."

Gilbert and Lufe grin, their eyes shining with excitement. "We'll be rooting for you all the way!"

Paul's eyes meet his friends', a sense of camaraderie and determination shared between them. "Let's do this! We're in this together!"

The group shares a nod, their faces set with determination and anticipation for the upcoming tournament.

As the Black Heavens bid farewell to the kids and begin to depart, Raven turns to her party with a thoughtful expression.

"You know, I sensed something peculiar from Paul," she says, her voice low and intrigued. "He has both mana and aura within him."

Hiiro's eyebrows rise in surprise. "Both? That's impossible. Mana and aura are two different forms of energy, incompatible with each other."

Raven nods. "I know. And yet, I sensed them both within Paul. It's as if he has the ability to store and wield both magical and physical energy."

Raven's hand instinctively goes to the energy sensor necklace around her neck, a legendary tool that allows her to detect and analyze various forms of energy.

"I sensed it with this," she says, her fingers tracing the intricate design of the necklace. "My energy sensor picked up on both mana and aura emanating from Paul. It's a unique signature, unlike anything I've seen before."

Hiiro's eyes widen in understanding. "That explains how you detected it. Your energy sensor is one of the most Legendary tools in our arsenal."

Raven nods. "Yes, and it's never wrong. If it says Paul has both mana and aura, then I believe it."

Lilia's curiosity gets the better of her. "What does it mean, Raven? Could Paul really be the first Magic Swordsman?"

Gilbert and Lufe exchange a look, their faces filled with excitement and curiosity.

Hiiro's expression turns thoughtful. "If Paul can indeed wield both mana and aura, he could potentially revolutionize the way we approach combat and magic."

Raven's eyes gleam with interest. "I think we've stumbled upon something much bigger than we initially thought. Let's keep an eye on Paul and see how he develops."

The Black Heavens nod in agreement, their minds buzzing with the possibilities and implications of Paul's unique abilities.
