Hirvan arrived at the Ashford mansion, feeling utterly drained, every muscle in his body weighed down by exhaustion. As he walked through the grand entrance, the only thing on his mind was how desperately he needed to rest.
After a quick shower that did little to wash away his fatigue, Hirvan made his way to the dining room, intent on fulfilling the promise he had made to Elian, though he could hardly muster the energy to care about what lay ahead.
The atmosphere in the dining room was thick with awkwardness when he entered. Elian sat at the head of the table, his posture stiff, his expression uncertain. The older man's eyes briefly met Hirvan's before quickly darting away, as if unsure how to bridge the distance between them. Hirvan took his seat in silence, his face a mask of indifference. He didn't have the strength or desire to engage with Elian tonight.
