In this world, there exists a spiritual realm called the Beyond that can only be accessed by a select group of individuals called Beyonder's. Beyonder's have the ability to enter the Beyond and absorb the souls of spirits to gain strength and abilities in both the physical and spiritual world.

Hierarchy of Spirits:

In the realm of the Beyond, there exist various types of spirits, each with its own unique abilities and strengths.

1. Micro Spirits: The tiniest and weakest among the spirits, Micro Spirits grant little power to Beyonders. However, their influence can still enhance certain specific aspects, such as a Beyonder's communication with insects or the ability to create small, precise traps.

2. Minor Spirits: These spirits are weak but offer enough power to grant basic abilities to Beyonders. Examples include enhanced senses, a slight boost to physical attributes, or the capability to lay traps.

3. Pico Spirits: A step up from Micro Spirits, Pico Spirits provide more focused enhancements. Beyonders might gain the ability to sense minute changes in air pressure or read the emotional state of those near them.

4. Nano Spirits: More powerful than Micro Spirits, Nano Spirits allow Beyonders to inherit techniques from their host spirit. This could include mastery over an ancient art form or the ability to control minor elements.

Absorption of Spirits:

When a Beyonder absorbs a spirit's soul, it affects their soul and can change it, making them more in tune with the Beyond. When a Beyonder reaches a certain threshold of absorbed spirit souls, their soul undergoes a transformation, making them more powerful and in tune with the Beyond.

Spirit Contracts:

Beyonder's can enter contracts with spirits in the Beyond to gain supernatural abilities depending on the spirit they contract with. These abilities can include things like elemental manipulation, healing, or teleportation.

The Society of Beyonders is a complex web that entwines various factions, noble families, and organizations that govern the realm of the Beyond. At the helm of this society, five distinguished royal families hold predominant influence due to their long-standing legacy and unmatched power. These families are:

    House Draconus: Known for their mastery over fire and dragon-like spirit allies, the Draconuses are feared and revered for their raw, untamed strength. They are proud, unforgiving, and fiercely independent, valuing courage and loyalty above all else.

    House Aquilus: The Aquiluses specialize in wind and avian spirits. They are swift, agile, and highly organized. Their matriarchal society prides itself on discipline, honor, and strategic thinking. They are considered masters of espionage and intelligence gathering.

    House Terra: The Terra family derives power from the earth and its denizens. They are grounded, stubborn, and tenacious. Ruling from fortified strongholds, they are experts in fortification and defense. Their bonds with the natural world give them unmatched survival skills.

    House Lunaris: Hailing from a lineage of lunar mystics, the Lunaris family governs over water-based spirits. They are secretive, enigmatic, and intuitive. Their abilities extend to the manipulation of emotions, making them skilled diplomats and negotiators.
