In the Alpin Kingdom's castle.

A maid opened the door of the room and said, "My Lord, congratulations! Its boy".

The "lord" was Arthur Alpin; he was pale, with bobbed white hair and blue eyes. His height was approximately 182 cm, and he was dressed in all black, including a black coat, black slacks, and black shoes. He was twenty-three years old.

Arthur smiled and asked, "Where is my son?"

And the maid said, "My Lord, your son is sleeping with Lady Diana, and Lady Diana's health is not very good. The doctor said that we need to take care of her very carefully."

After hearing what the maid had said, he began walking toward his wife and son. They were both sleeping on their beds, his son on the right side and his wife on the left.

Arthur's spouse was Diana Alpin. Her skin tone was pale, and she had lustrous black eyes. She stood 164.5 cm tall. She was wearing a basic white gown and had glossy blonde hair that was pulled back in a ponytail. She was twenty-two years old.

After seeing his wife and son, he called his wife's personal maid, who was standing outside the room's gates, and told her to call the butler.

She nodded and replied, "Yes, my Lord."

Then she walked out of the room. Butler arrived two minutes later at the door of the room and found Arthur seated on a chair to the right of the bed, holding his son close to him with a big smile on his face.

Butler was an elderly man with silver hair and a beard of the same color. He was wearing his butler's suit. And he was 184 cm tall, and his age was between 64 and 65 years.

Butler then said, "May a come in, my lord," while maintaining a neutral facial expression.

He went from a broad smile to a more neutral one and said, "Yes, come in," as soon as he saw Butler at the door.

"Yes, did you call me, my lord?" Butler answered.

"Go and bring 'that' thing," Arthur then said.

Butler said, "My Lord, I have 'that' thing ready."

With those words, Butler left his room and returned a little later, carrying a large transparent glass square with a cube crystal placed in the center.

When he entered the room carrying a glass square object, he asked the butler what it was called. The butler informed him that the device was a mana recorder and also explained its operation. If the colour of the mana recorder changes to white, it means he has the aptitude to become a mage, and if it turns blue, it means he has the aptitude to become a body cultivator.

And then, after listening to his explanation, he stood up from his chair and said, "So all we need to do is put his hand on this mana recorder, and then we can find out what type of talent he has, right? 

And butler replied by nodding. And then he told the butler to hold the mana recorder tightly in his hand with smile on his face, which was full of curiosity for knowing what kind of talent does his first child was going to have.

The butler sighs, seeing his expression. "My Lord, place the child's hand on this mana recorder," he uttered. "How long do we have to wait for this mana recorder to tell us the answer?" he asked, placing his son's hand on the device. Butler then responded, "It will take a minute, but you can remove his hand from the mana recorder."
