Uta and Stella decided to spend the six days leading up to the festival sightseeing in Fishburg.
"We should explore the town, but we also need to make some money for our travels," Stella said, her voice thoughtful.
"Yep, can't eat delicious food without cash," Uta replied cheerfully.
"And don't forget gathering information about Goddess Marin. That's important too."
"Yep, gotta figure out how to eat her, after all."
"Exactly."
"Right."
The conversation trailed off, leaving an awkward silence between them. Neither knew how to break it, and the room grew heavier with unspoken thoughts.
The two of them were currently in the bathhouse of their inn. They sat side by side in a large tub, naked, the warm water enveloping their bodies. There was no particular reason for them to bathe together—it had simply become a habit.
