Chapter 47 - Departure

The next morning, early at dawn.

A letter addressed to Shuna was delivered to the Sylphide household. The sender's name was written as Baron Trymel—Shuna's father.

"Already got a reply, huh?" I asked.

"Looks like it," Shuna nodded quietly and carefully opened the envelope.

The truth was, on the day it was decided that Shuna would become my attendant—right after I dueled Dion—I had sent a message via magical express to inform her father of the decision.

As Shuna read through the letter with a serious expression, I couldn't help but ask, "So, what does it say?"

"Most of it is words of gratitude. He thanks the Marquis of Sylphide for allowing me to attend the Academy, even if it's in the form of being an attendant."

After saying that much, Shuna suddenly hesitated, as if something was troubling her. She looked up at me with a mix of reluctance and embarrassment in her eyes.
