Rouchefort had just had a talk with Zarten. He bowed and turned to leave. The doors of the throne room opened for him to leave and on the other side the necromarcs waited by the entrance.
"So you have returned. Why did you take on an unauthorized hunt like that?" He spike passing by them.
"It was urgent. And the information was accurate. I would have thought the empire would help us as this was assigned to us." Ezekiel responded when the others wouldn't dare voice their opinions. Not after the mess they made and the loss they injured.
Rouchefort scoffed at him and just walked away. Ezekiel felt even more agitated, gritting his teeth to hold himself back as he led his team into the throne room.
Zarten sat on the throne with his hands on the armrests. He sat back with his eyes closed. His golden yes opened with a glimmer of overwhelming might and authority.
