Ryukka turned to look at him. She composed herself before she spoke.
"Thank you for your help. I have to admit I needed a little bit of help with that back there." She expressed her gratitude to the commander. "Did everyone make it out of there?"
"No war is without casualties. We have suffered a few loses. Some are are badly wounded. I would like to think we were victorious otherwise."
"I see. We failed to protect the dead then? That is most unfortunate, and incompetent of us." Ryukka talked walking past the commander.
"You can not blame yourself for every little thing you fail to control. Somethings, even if small, can still send a huge glimmer of hope for those who experience them." The commander tried for comforting words.
"I had a brothe commander. Do you know what he once said?" She looked at him by the corner of her eye.
