Eli's first day at Oakwood High was a blur of new faces and classrooms, until he stumbled upon a boy sitting alone in the courtyard, sketching in a worn notebook. The boy's pencil scratched out bold lines and curves, creating a world that seemed to pulse with life. Eli felt drawn to the creativity and intensity radiating from him. As he approached, the boy looked up, startled, and their eyes met for the first time. 'Hey, I'm Alex,' he said, with a smile that could light up a room. 'And you are...?' Eli took a seat next to him, and as they started talking, the courtyard faded away, leaving only the two of them, lost in conversation. Little did they know, that moment marked the beginning of a friendship that would change their lives forever.

*Ring,ring* (school bell)

"It's time for another class" Alex said with a frustrated expression,Eli wondering what happened to a sudden change in emotion,"hey what's wrong" asking with a very worried face, "it's just that I really feel like going home,the school is quite boring today" Alex said,but deep down he knew the school has always been boring but he feels the boredom today is quite strange.

Sign,"hey,I never get to know your grade" Eli asked hoping he'll make a new friend with Alex and won't have to wonder around all by him self. "Ah.....yeah,am in grade 11,what about you?" Alex said. "Wow,am in the same grade as you" Eli said with a joyful smile on his face, meanwhile Alex wondering why the school would admit a student at the final grade of highschool but seems he's none of his business to ask,so far he won't get bored as always, hopefully.

It's the end of a school day,every student is getting out of school going on their different ways home,some going in groups,some going alone and some waiting for their parents to come pick 'em up. Two boys coming out of the school gates,guess it's the two boys that met each other earlier. "So, which way are you heading?" Alex asked, "it's that way" Eli pointing at the right said of the street. "How awesome,it's also my way home" Alex replied in a pleased voice, Eli was relieved when Alex said he was heading the same way as him since he won't have to go home all by his own.

On getting to Alex place it seems Eli's house isn't far from Alex's place, Eli told Alex his house wasn't far from here and he knows no where here since they just moved to town,since Alex had nothing to do after school he decided to follow Eli back home hoping to see what his house looks like,
