Barkın had seen Ozan waiting for him next to a car. After examining his surroundings and making sure there was no one there, Barkın walked towards the Ozan.
The doctor, who looked at the entrance of the park with worried eyes, saw Barkın and his terrible state. His clothes were dirty and bloody. He was covered in dust and dirt because he had rolled on the ground in pain, but that was not what caught the doctor Ozan's attention. There was blood on Barkın. There were blood stains on both Barkın and his clothes. It was normal for someone who did not know Barkın's condition to think that he had committed murder when they saw him in this state.
Doctor Ozan ran towards Barkın with the blanket he took from the car. He wrapped the blanket around himself and hid his terrible state and bloody clothes. Then he accompanied Barkın to the car.
Barkın first remembered the times he had lived with doctor Ozan in the hospital and what was happening now. He thought once again how good and thoughtful his brother Ozan was.
"Let's go to the hospital," said doctor Ozan, but Barkın objected. He knew very well that going to the hospital was unnecessary. He had been in the hospital for a month and what had changed? They couldn't even find the cause or reason for the injuries.
"Do you have anywhere to go?" That was the first question Ozan asked when they got in the car. He had asked this question to Barkın, who didn't want to go to the hospital.
"No," Barkın answered sadly.
"I understand," the doctor said and sighed. With this one-word answer Barkın gave, he understood that Barkın had been expelled from the clan. He knew this day would come sooner or later, but even Ozan hadn't thought it would happen so soon.
"So, shall we go to my house?" Ozan asked.
"Your house?"
"Yes. You need to change and take a bath. You'll be arrested in this state," he replied seriously.
"Then I'm bothering you," Barkın said. No, Ozan's brother was right. He couldn't go anywhere right now. He was covered in sweat and blood. After all, Ozan didn't see the doctor as a stranger. Barkın was hesitant at first, thinking that Ozan would disturb his brother's family, but when they got home, Barkın learned that these concerns were unfounded.
"Is there anyone home?"
There were only a few men's shoes at the front door. The lights were off when Ozan entered. So Barkın asked Ozan this question and...
"No, I live alone," he answered.
"Don't you have a wife or girlfriend?" Barkın asked. He was curious.
Ozan was a good talent. He always had a handsome appearance and lifestyle. He was also a young doctor, and as if that wasn't enough, he was a middle-class [Soy Ruhu] [Soylu]. It was ridiculous that he didn't have a girlfriend. He was sure that many girls were running after Ozan.
"Ha ha..." Ozan walked sarcastically and said "No" strangely.
"Are you kidding?" Barkın asked seriously. Because he seemed to have heard something unbelievable. When he realized that Ozan wasn't joking, he didn't know what else to say.
"Anyway, you go to the bathroom now. I'll put your clothes in front of the door," said Ozan doctor, ending this conversation.
"Okay."
"There's a bathroom at the end of the hallway, next to the kitchen. You put your clothes in the dirty basket there. I'll put your clothes in front of the door," said Ozan doctor.
Barkın found the bathroom just as Ozan abi described. Before leaving the bathroom, he took a quick look at the size of the house. It was definitely 3+1. It was a house big enough for only one person to live in.
He went into the bathroom and threw his bloody and dirty laundry into the dirty basket just like Ozan abi said. There was no need to wash these clothes. They had to be thrown away directly.
The bathroom was quite large. There was a large shower cabin and even a compartment where the washing machine was. There was a glass in front of the sink mirror. There was only toothpaste and toothpaste on the glass. There was nothing else. It was a sign of someone living alone. There was only men's shampoo and shower gel in the shower cabin. There was everything a man needed. Hair conditioner, etc. There were no care products.
After the bathroom was opened, he opened the door. Ozan's brother had left a towel in front of the door for him to dry himself and clothes for him to wear. After Barkın dried himself thoroughly with the towel, he put on his underwear. It was a little loose because it belonged to Ozan's brother, but it wasn't enough to cause a problem. After his underwear, he had shorts and a t-shirt. It was loose like his underwear. He felt very relaxed after taking a bath. He felt like a burden had been lifted from him. The smell of blood mixed with sweat was gone.
After Barkın got out of the bathroom, a pleasant smell hit his nose. He followed the smell of food and went to the kitchen. He saw his brother Ozan in the kitchen.
Seeing Barkın coming, Ozan said, "You came just in time. The food is almost ready."
"Ozan brother, can you prepare dinner?" Barkın couldn't help but ask.
"I can't do such complicated things, but I can cook the way I want."
Hearing this, Barkın thought again. "How can this man not have a girlfriend?"
While Barkın was thinking these things, Ozan pointed to the table and chairs and said, "Come and sit."
Right after Barkın sat on the chair, Ozan brother came with a pan in his hand. He put the first pan on the table. Then he took the breakfast ingredients from the refrigerator and put them on the table. Olives, cheese, honey, pepper, tomato, cucumber. He had brewed the tea on the stove while the water was boiling.
"I didn't have much time, so I made an easy meal tonight. I apologize."
"What do you mean, I'm the one who should apologize. I'm bothering you at this late hour. You're sharing your home and food with me."
"It's okay, it's okay," he said, waving his hands. "It's an older brother's duty to help his little brother. So don't hesitate," Ozan said.
Barkın didn't know how to respond to this. He was so moved that he almost cried, but he held himself back. He smiled and thanked him.
"Thank you."
"Let's eat." Ozan said and closed the subject. They both started eating their food.
After they had eaten, Ozan, who was serving tea, opened the subject by saying, "You were expelled from the clan, weren't you?"
"Yes," Barkın replied.
"Ah."
Barkın heard Ozan sigh and a topic came to his mind. As far as he knew, Ozan was also a member of a distinguished clan. At least that's what the hospital staff said. So why was he living alone as a doctor now? When he wondered about this, he couldn't help but ask.
"Ozan brother, as far as I know, you were also a member of a distinguished clan. Moreover, you also have lineage power. Why did you leave the clan or were you expelled?"
Ozan started scratching his head when he heard this question. He took a deep breath as he continued to scratch.
"You know the Alp clan, right?" he asked.
Barkın didn't even have to think to answer this question. The Alp clan was also one of the famous clans. It was a clan that was among the distinguished clans like the Crystal clan and controlled many parts of the capital Nkra.
Barkın replied, "Of course I heard."
At first, he didn't understand why Ozan brother asked such a thing, but when he thought about it for a while, something came to his mind. He couldn't help but say, "Otherwise."
Before he could finish his sentence, Ozan brother started talking. "Yes," he said. "My surname is Alp."
Almost all distinguished clans take their names from the surnames of the founders, the main family. Ozan Abi was also one of the main family members of the Alp family. He was not a normal member of the clan, he was someone who came from the main family.
Just like Barkın himself.
Before asking "Why?" Ozan Abi answered.
"The spirit of the Alp family [Glacier] is a high-class bloodline power. A strong, superior and influential bloodline power befitting a distinguished clan. But I inherited my bloodline power from my late mother, not from my father. The middle-class octopus tentacles you see in the hospital are exactly that. A weak bloodline power that can never compete with Glacier." he said with a sad smile.
"I had a bloodline power. So I never thought there would be a problem, but over time, when my cousins managed to awaken the [Glacier] bloodline power after me, I was the only one who was different in the main family. While my cousins with the same power consulted each other and learned from their families and developed, I was the only one left behind. Naturally, it did not take long for my cousins to surpass me in power and development," Ozan breathed. He took a sip of his tea before moving on to the main topic.
"But I didn't care. I continued my life normally, but when I was 15, I first learned that my father had a 5-year-old child from his mistress. I remember that day, my father brought a child home one day and without realizing what it was, he introduced me by saying 'this is your sister'."
"From that day on, even though we were from different mothers, I never hesitated to treat her like a sister. Sometimes I spoiled her, sometimes I taught her. She also saw and recognized me as her older brother. The real problem was that my sister admired me more than she loved me as her older brother."
"I'm not saying this to brag. My sister was a real genius," Ozan began his speech, and then Ozan began to introduce his sister with a proud but still slightly sad expression on his face.
"She managed to awaken her bloodline power when she was 8. Like my cousins, she inherited the bloodline power of the Alp family [Glacier], but unlike my cousins, my sister's development and strength were much faster."
"At the age of 8, my sister awakened her bloodline power. At the age of 9, she surpassed me, who had been developing for 6 years, in strength and development. At the age of 10, she had already surpassed our cousins. She was seen as the future and pride of the Alp clan. She was a genius who had earned the respect of everyone within and outside the family. And such a genius admired me. She was still young at the time. I knew she would grow up too soon. As time went by, her admiration for me would fade away as she saw how useless I was. Perhaps that admiration would be replaced by disgust and contempt. I was scared when I thought about all of this."
"I thought of staying away from my sister. That's why I had to leave the clan and Nkra. When I talked to my father about this, he accepted without hesitation. My father also knew that my sister's development would slow down as long as I was in this clan. That's why he contacted a friend he knew in Tanbul and helped me get out of the city. That's how I came to this city six years ago. Thanks to that friend my father knew, I received my medical education. As you can see, I am currently living my life as a doctor." Ozan shared his own past.
"What would have happened to your sister if you had come to this city six years ago?" Barkın asked.
"She must have turned 16 like you," Ozan answered.
They had eaten. After washing the dishes, they drank their tea and chatted. They continued this conversation until Ozan got up from the table to go to the bathroom.
They had never talked about any other important topics other than Ozan's life story. For example, Ozan had never mentioned Barkın's sudden injuries. He had never even brought up the subject.
The two of them had only had a superficial conversation.
