Narrator's POV.
"Stop, Arlecchino, journal number 3 belongs to him now."
Stan quickly dissipated the tension in the air by stopping Arlecchino.
He didn't want Dipper to become his adversary, and he didn't want to retrieve this object like that .
Dipper isn't his real nephew, but Stan deeply respects this kid who challenged Bill Cipher, and he can feel the emotions that the original Stan had for him and Mabel.
Arlecchino silently nodded before elegantly kneeling in apology.
"I apologize for my initiative, but I wanted to do well " Arlecchino explained in her cold voice.
If someone were listening to her right now, they'd think she wasn't sincere and was just apologizing as a formality, but Stan is different.
He knows Arlecchino is sincere. She simply acted in his interest, logically.
"It's okay, but treat Dipper more kindly from now on," said Stan, approaching Arlecchino to pat her head lightly.
"Sorry about this incident, but this child is still too young. She lacks... experience," Stan explained, walking towards a computer next to the altar where journal number 1 is located.
"Too young?" Mabel was intrigued, like everyone else present.
Stan let out a small sigh of fatigue. Thanks to his subordinate, his list of explanations had just grown longer.
"Arlecchino was born this week. So, cut her some slack this time," Stan declared, met with various reactions.
Mabel was delighted and approached Arlecchino with stars in her eyes, while Dipper and Terri seemed more curious.
Wendy and Soos, on the other hand, looked a bit lost as they observed Arlecchino's appearance.
After the situation was definitively settled, Stan turned off the light and activated a projector to show videos.
These are information obtained from the gnomes and Giffany. Stan didn't really need them, he already knows Gravity Falls better thanks to the memories of his past life, revived by his super brain.
He keeps these videos as a precaution and to archive his research.
'Gotta leave information for future generations. I don't know if one day I'll be forced to abandon this reality, like Rick C-137 often does.'
Stan doesn't want to find himself in a situation that would force him to flee this dimension, but he's a cautious man.
He won't hesitate to flee with his loved ones if he senses an extremely powerful danger approaching. If he hasn't fled from Bill Cipher yet, it's simply because Stan believes he can win.
The first projected video showed Stan fighting a large black minotaur.
"As you can see here, Gravity Falls is full of anomalies...", Stan began. But his audience was already distracted, except for Terri and Dipper.
"Go on, Uncle Stan, kick his butt!" Mabel shouted, cheering Stan on.
"You can take him!" Soos yelled.
"I don't remember this fight being filmed," Wendy mumbled.
Stan was momentarily surprised before abruptly changing the video. This time, gnomes were seen rummaging through a trash can.
"Oh no! Just when Uncle Stan was about to give him an uppercut," Mabel couldn't hide her disappointment.
"I'll send you that fight later. For now, I need to explain the truth about me and Gravity Falls," said Stan, in a serious tone that brought back a more solemn atmosphere.
'How many times has the atmosphere in this place changed? I really hate Disney worlds...'
Stan had mentally sworn to avoid Disney worlds, unless necessary. Despite his intention to steal a golden apple from Hercules ,he judged that his mental health was more important.
He started a long explanation about the anomalies and Ford's journals. Of course, he didn't mention Ford for now.
"Thanks to these videos and my explanation, you already understand that Gravity Falls isn't normal. But if that's not enough to convince some skeptics here, a demonstration is necessary."
Stan signaled Arlecchino to perform a magic demonstration.
*Boom* The ground cracking to sprout plants.
"You know you could have just used the fire or ice rune, right?"
"I judged that growing some plants would be more impressive and supernatural than making a flame or two float."
Arlecchino's explanations were too logical for Stan to refute.
"So? Any questions about Gravity Falls and the supernatural?"
Stan's words were met with a long silence before Mabel finally broke it by jumping on him.
"HOW DID SHE DO THAT!! HOW!!!" Mabel clung to Stan's suit like a koala.
"Uncle Stan, my journal doesn't mention this kind of thing." Dipper approached him too, asking various questions.
"My god, magic exists, and monsters too..." Terri, on the other hand, wasn't as enthusiastic as the twins. On the contrary, she was starting to panic.
*Slap* sound of a slap.
"Stay with us. I don't know if all this stuff exists, but I'm sure the boss knows how to handle it... right?"
Stan nodded towards Wendy and Terri, even though he was still stuck between Mabel and Dipper.
"Mr. Pines, just one small question," Soos finally spoke up.
"I'm listening, Soos," Stan replied after finally detaching Mabel who was clinging to him.
"I've always suspected that the mailman was a werewolf. Do you have any proof of that? Because my mom never believed me when I told her about it."
Stan thought for a moment before glancing at his archives. There were all the videos from the spy robots.
There were so many that Stan hadn't watched them all.
"Oh! Damn, he is a werewolf!!"
Stan had just answered a question that many Gravity Falls fans had asked themselves at least once in their lives.
"Yes, I knew my wisdom was immeasurable!"
...
Dipper's POV
I can't believe Gravity Falls is so huge or that Uncle Stan is so extraordinary. But if he's so incredible, why isn't he known to the global scientific community?
He should be famous, right?
"Uncle Stan, you mentioned you'd talk about Gravity Falls, but also about yourself, didn't you?"
I had to get my answers here and now. He doesn't seem interested in the journal, and since he has one himself, I don't think he's the author.
"Yes... I'm going to tell you about myself and also about my brother."
Wait, he mentioned a bit earlier that he wanted to save his brother. Does this have anything to do with Gravity Falls and the fact that he's not famous?
"You need to understand that, like you and Mabel, I also had a twin, Ford Pines... the genius of the family."
"What? Another genius?" Terri's voice expressed everyone's feelings here well.
Uncle Stan was able to create such a scientifically advanced base, and he even created Arlecchino. I find it hard to imagine that there's someone smarter.
"Yes, Ford was smarter than me, but currently, I don't know who's the best, haha." Although Uncle Stan laughs, I can clearly feel that he's sad for an unknown reason.
"Master..."
[Darling...]
Giffany and Arlecchino's voices seemed to want to comfort Uncle Stan, but he just nodded in their direction.
"Ford is the author of the journal you have, Dipper, as well as mine and Gideon's, Mabel's stalker," Stan explained in a serious tone.
"The author is part of the family!!"
I would have never imagined this possibility. The author I was searching for so much is actually a member of my family, and he's a scientist.
Wait, Gideon has a journal too!!!
"Unfortunately, he was deceived by a powerful entity that hides in the darkness of this place: this creature is called Bill Cipher." At the mention of this name, Uncle Stan displayed an extremely serious expression.
