The Doc shrugged. "The hell know. It wasn't my job at the time to know. I was a captain of a small unit all during the first demonic wars at the time. The annihilator was introduced into the army forces as a means of destroying the portal door ways that the demonic forces used to come into this realm. My unit was tasked with the job of bodyguards to the operators of the devices while they were set up and activated when we were cleared to get away from the blast area." He said.
