I felt a magical protection spell come over it and a sense or surrenity fell over me. I turned away from the door even as the door knub started turning and then they started pushing to break the door down to get in but they couldn't. I looked around the one room building. There was hot pool in the center of the room a magical glass window above the pool where the moon shined down on it.
I stripped myself of my clothes and then walked into the bathing pool and washed myself in the warm waters I felt alive and my head space was clearing quickly from the fog of a killing rush.
I felt like myself again. I felt the desire to get up and make a move for city. I wanted to get back to work. Back to city and doing what I did best. I was ready. Now all I needed was damn clothes.
