"Boy, draw your weapon! I will give you a chance to fight!"

Captain Tucker wielded the giant hammer with one hand and pointed it straight at his opponent. The giant hammer, weighing five tons, looked like a child's toy in his grip.

As the captain of the Blood Sail Pirates, Tucker had set his sights on conquering the New World. He possessed strength and courage beyond that of ordinary men, and while his crew significantly outnumbered the enemy, he relished the chance to display his bravery.

Carlos shook his head. "A weakling like you isn't worthy of making me draw my sword..."

These words completely infuriated Tucker. "Arrogant!" he bellowed, swinging the giant hammer with all his might.

The hammer's swing created a violent wind pressure; few doubted that such a powerful blow could easily shatter the deck.

"Too slow," Carlos commented casually as he sidestepped the attack. He then raised his right fist and punched forward.

Boom!

The impact was like a landslide and tsunami combined. Tucker's expression froze as his giant hammer flew from his grasp and plunged into the sea, sending up a massive splash. Tucker's hulking frame collapsed onto the deck with a resounding thud.

"But... damn it! Does my ambition end here..." Tucker muttered, gritting his teeth before losing consciousness altogether.

Carlos nonchalantly clapped his hands as if he had just finished a trivial task. Standing on the main ship's deck, he looked like a god of war as his gaze swept over the scene. The surrounding pirates' faces twisted in fear, their hearts felt as if they were being squeezed, stifling their breath.

"Is that person really human? He killed over a hundred men at once, and even Captain Tucker!"

"What a monster!"

"What are you afraid of? We still have more than 800 men and 200 cannons!"

"No matter how strong he is, he's still just flesh and blood!"

The pirate ships began to turn, their sides now pointing towards Carlos's ship. Cannons were pushed out on the decks, and crews scrambled to load them.

"Wait a minute! Vice Captain Yorick and the officers are ready to act!"

"Every officer of the Blood Sail Pirates has a bounty of tens of millions of beli! If the four of them fight together, they can surely defeat that monster!"

With eyes full of expectation, the pirates watched as four figures appeared on the decks of four ships. They displayed a posture of alertness, enemies ready for a powerful threat.

"He actually killed Captain Tucker..."

"This guy wants to die? Let's help him. Attack together and kill him!"

"Don't underestimate him; this guy is very powerful!"

"If we don't avenge this, how will we maintain our reputation at sea? Attack!"

The four officers charged towards Carlos. Two of them instantly transformed into half-orc forms, one a lion and the other a walrus. Towering and ferocious, they moved with unimaginable speed, leaving exploded decks in their wake. The other two, dressed as swordsmen, leaped into the air, one wielding twin swords and the other a giant blade.

Carlos sighed. "It's just a ride. There's no need to fight to the death, right?"

Suddenly, several dark objects flew from Carlos and struck the four officers in the face, sending them reeling back in agony.

"What the hell?" Vice-Captain Yorick exclaimed, freezing as he grabbed one of the objects. "This... is this a blood jade agate pendant?" As a pirate familiar with treasures, he recognized its quality immediately—worth millions at auction.

Another officer nearby raised a coral ring, his eyes gleaming. "Wait, is this from The Fish Men Island Sea Forest? Only royalty would wear something this exquisite..."

The four officers looked at Carlos in confusion. "What do you mean by this?"

Carlos smiled. "You mean these? I have many more!" He dropped a large bundle, from which spilled countless pieces of stunning jewelry. Under the sunlight, they glittered and enchanted everyone's gaze.

"Who is this person?" one of the officers wondered aloud.

Carlos spread his hands. "Nothing, I just ransacked the auction on Island No. 1. You're also headed to the New World? Why not travel together?"

Now that he was a pirate, Carlos knew he had to face the Navy and other pirate groups. Though confident in his abilities, he understood the New World's dangers. The Blood Sail Pirates, with their thousand-strong crew and five battleships, along with officers worth tens of millions in bounties, were the strongest group he had encountered. Convincing them to take him to Wanokuni would make his journey much safer. And all it cost him was some auction items he didn't need.

"Travel to the New World together? This..."

Several officers exchanged glances, uncertain of what to say. "But you killed Captain Tucker..."

"Don't be stupid! This guy can kill the captain with one move. We likely wouldn't stand a chance if we fought."

"We're going to the New World anyway. Why not have him along?"

"Damn, it's hard to swallow this, but..."

The officers, though tempted by greed, had not lost their senses entirely. Would they join forces and head to the New World together, accept the travel expenses, and make peace? Or would they risk their lives, seek vengeance for their captain, and take Carlos's treasures?

Confusion and hesitance filled their minds as the rest of the pirates watched, hanging on this decision.

Carlos folded his arms, smiling patiently. "Have you decided yet?"
