Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 “A Marriage Proposal”

Wei Wei stood clumsily. Not only was it not very daring of her to escape, but she looked like a kidnapper standing here. Wei Wei rapidly considered her options, got up from her clothing, and took a seat.

In Dreams of Jiang Hu, gamers might choose to sit down for relaxation, to reflect and practice neigong, or, as Wei Wei was doing at the moment, to set up a stall and make sales.

The nearby players couldn't help but hei xian as Wei Wei announced the stall name, "Cheap medicine for sale." Wei Wei typed down her advertising slogan, "Look here, look here," very rapidly. 20% off brand-new medication from a knowledgeable pharmacist!

All of the players who had been present to see the enthusiasm began rioting as soon as the sentence appeared.

I think she's kidding! Medication administered by a leveled-out pharmacist is never sold in NPC shops. They hardly ever happen through monster drops. This was the type of item where there was a market for it but not a supply. Though the neighborhood server employed a few experienced pharmacists, they primarily catered to their own group and hardly ever sold their medication to outsiders. High-level medication is now available for purchase at a low cost! The gamers near Zhu Que Bridge erupted with excitement and moved quickly to drown the man dressed in crimson.

The marriage sedan arrived, and it swiftly drove away.

Strangely, the marital sedan that had been traveling at a snail's pace toward the bridge suddenly picked up speed as it crossed the Zhu Que Bridge and vanished over the horizon in an instant.

The gamers quickly left after realizing there was nothing remarkable going on, and Wei Wei's medication sold out. The usually peaceful bridge returned. The bridge gained popularity only when there was a wedding procession.

Wei Wei saw someone calling her from the other side of the bridge as she was packing up her booth and getting ready to head off.

"Wei Wei Wei Lu Wei."

Wei Wei glanced at the player.

There was a willow tree along the river. That individual did nothing more than stand there among the gently waving trees. The man wearing white clothing sat beneath the willow tree, clutching a guxin, and his fluttering sleeves gave him an otherworldly appearance.

Wei Wei gazed with amazement, her eyes wide open.

It wasn't the white suit man's good looks that shocked Wei Wei. He was obviously quite attractive, but everyone eventually developed immunity to him because the white-clothed musician avatar wasn't all that uncommon in the game.

The player's name shocked her.

He Yi Xiao Nai.

Yi Xiao Nai He is the best player on the server.

Being called the best player in this game means more than just having a high level. He needs to be extremely well-equipped, skilled at point-blank, have precise control, and—above all—be wealthy.

Therefore, one of Lu Wei Wei Wei's eyes uncontrollably turned into a heart and the other began to show money signs when she first saw Yi Xiao Ne He.

Sha Shen-a!

Star-a!

Super Person-a!

"Nai He Xiong, I've long looked forward to meeting you; you called?" Wei Wei said with a smile as she dashed across the bridge.

Yan Xiao Nai He clicked "en," and Yi Xiao Nai, the system pop-up, appeared. It is his desire to be pals.

Wei Wei quickly clicked "yes" and made her own request in return. Making friends with Yi Xiao Nai He wasn't easy. All year long, the majority of the best players often block friend requests. Sometimes Wei Wei might shut down too if she added too many individuals.

Yan Xiao Nai In a minute, he texted her, asking, "How do you feel about that wedding?"

Jiong Wei Wei. Had Da Shen come to gossip too? "Very large," Wei Wei delicately retorted.

Yan Xiao Nai "Would you like a larger wedding?" he asked.

Wei Wei made a quick getaway.

Yan Xiao Nai He said, "Marry me."

Wei Wei considered it a great blessing that she wasn't consuming any water today. If not, she would have had to deal with more spray on her monitor. Wei Wei gently shifted the tea cup in her hand a little bit away before turning back to the television.

Yi Xiao Nai appeared on the screen. Under the willow tree, his avatar remained still and graceful. After a little while of staring, Wei Wei transmitted over, "Da Shen, Has someone taken your phone number?"

Yan Xiao Nai He sent a difficult-to-read "silent" message that seemed to lack Wei Wei's sense of humor: "You probably haven't seen the latest news from the game website, the one about the husband-and-wife PK tournament."

Wei Wei: "Hold on, let me check."

The words "Couples PK Tournament" were bolded at the top of the main page when Wei Wei opened the game's official website. She rapidly scrolled to get a rough idea. As the name suggests, the Couples PK event had couples battling as a team. First, the competing couples participated in their own servers, with rewards going to the top three pairs. Following that, the top pair from each server would face off against the top couples from other servers. Super Awards would be awarded to the top three fighters from those matches. The top reward was enough to make Wei Wei, who was already wealthy, salivate.

"You want to get married to me for this PK tournament?" said Wei Wei.

Yi Xiao Nai He; "En."

"*sweats*, why me?" said Wei Wei.

Yan Xiao Nai Apparently, he doesn't waste words. "In the top ten PK rankings, you are the only female player."

Wei Wei was convinced, but not quite. Thank you, Mr. Nai He was the strongest person in the PK and wealth rankings, with god-level weaponry and a pet, and was also the strongest person overall. They had a 50% chance of being the first on their server if they paired up. However, because her first marriage had already been arranged for a quest, was her second one planned for a PK competition?

Wei Wei was compelled to hei xian.

Returning to the original problem, though, why would she ever want to marry a stranger if it weren't for a mission or PK competition? Additionally, the awards were excellent.

"Let's get married!" Wei Wei said, balling her fist.[9]

Wei Wei felt liberated when the choice was decided and said, "Let's go; we'll form a team and head for Yue Lao's."

Hold on.

What? Could it be that she responded too quickly and that Mr. Nai He simply left after being afraid. ✍♍

However, Yi Xiao Nai was mistaken about what Wei Wei believed to be the situation.

"I need to get ready for a little bit three days later, at eight o'clock," he stated.

After going blank, Wei Wei wrote hastily, "Prepare what?"

The nuptials.

Wei Wei: "A simple ceremony of acknowledgement suffices." There's no need to make anything overly elaborate because we're only getting married for the competition.

Yan Xiao Nai That is insufficient, he said. My wedding can't be your typical one.

Wei Wei: "Well.
