They are now acquaintances because they made the decision to get married.
Something about this logic looks a little off, don't you think?
Wei Wei therefore joined Yi Xiao Nai's regular squad and spent all of her time hanging out with him over the course of the next two days. All of the best players made up Nai He's team. Even though Wei Wei had only ever PK'd two of them, her familiarity with them was limited to their IDs.
This is how Wei Wei first met them.
"Hoho, new person," said Hou Zi Jiu [1].
"Nai He, whose mei mei?" asks Yu Gong Pa Shan [2].[/3]
Yi Xiao Nai He: "My partner in marriage."
Wei Wei couldn't help but laugh when he said it, since it came so naturally to her. "Hello everybody ^_^," she typed with a smiley face.
"Wa, san sao," said Mo Zha Ta [4]. (5)
"Kao, the eternal bachelor, is getting married," said Yu Gong Pa Shan.
(6)
Before anyone could say, "San Sao's ID is a bit familiar," everyone was joking and applauding one another.
"I feel it too, since you mentioned it." Was San Sao ever ranked anywhere?
"I recall now, Lu Wei Wei Wei, isn't that Zhen Shui Wu Xiang's ex-wife?" remarked the quick-witted and simple-minded Hou Zi Jiu.
Abruptly, the crew got silent, and the atmosphere changed. Yi Xiao Nai almost got Wei Wei to announce that they were getting married for the PK tournament. "En, you guys' san sao married someone terrible, but you should not discriminate against her," he typed slowly.
Wei Wei choked on her chips.
Wei Wei experienced an epiphany at this precise time. One should never eat or drink when on missions or battling monsters with Nai He because he could say something so amazing that, should she not choke, she will undoubtedly splatter her monitor.
Without a doubt, it was really enjoyable and soothing to fight enemies and complete objectives with this bunch of guys. First and foremost, there was a high success rate, and everyone collaborated. Previously, Wei Wei's teams of players from her sect would take a very long time to defeat bosses. These days, finishing it just takes a little while. Of course, Nai He Da Shen has to be brought up while discussing combat. He worked as a musician. The musicians in Dreams of Jianghu were in a condition of semi-retirement. Although they were capable of everything, their assaults were not as powerful as those of warriors, and their assistance and healing were not as effective as those of specialized vocations. Finally, musicians were a waste of time and versatile people.
Nai He Da Shen, however, is a special instance.
With rapid control and accurate placement, Nai He Da Shen's healing was on par with that of any other healer. The teams didn't have to worry about helping him or covering for him. One time, Yi Xiao Nai He—who had been acting as a healer the entire time—pulled a sword out of his gu qin and unleashed his one and only strike, "Sword within the qin," piercing the monster's fatal location just as the boss was about to die. Before the boss's skull collapsed to the floor, it sprouted large red letters.
The only somewhat acceptable assault method available to minstrels is "sword within the qin." Even though Wei Wei had witnessed it several times previously, she had never seen damage points this large. It nearly matched hers. Wei Wei could not stop crying because of her jealousy. He must have too much equipment, that's for sure!
After establishing this benchmark, Wei Wei was mindless when she eventually saw Yi Xiao Nai's pet. [7]
A little white cat was Nai's pet.
A robust and muscular tiger was Wei Wei's pet.
Wei Wei was unable to form any sort of opinion when a tiger was unable to defeat a cat.
However, Nai He stated, "Our pets should marry after we do," after spending a great deal of time studying Wei Wei's animal companion.
Another aspect of Dreams of Jianghu was pet marriage. Pets might marry players if they were married and belonged to the same species. Once the marriage was consummated, a little mechanism would be created that would enable the pets to breed.
But their species aren't the same, Wei Wei said.
Yan Xiao Nai "This is a mutant baby tiger," he declared.
Therefore, this little cat is also a tiger. It makes sense why the forehead was covered with tiger stripes. Wei Wei was able to regain some little dignity. It wouldn't be as humiliating if a tiger lost to another tiger.
"All right, that's understood. Let's ruin them. Wei Wei was beaming. That little cat was on par with immortals[8]. Her tiger was just an ordinary tiger that she had taken herself. Her pet was being married, either way you look at it. "Your tiger is female?" Wei Wei inquired absentmindedly.
"Oh no, dude."
"My tiger is also a male."
It made Wei Wei unhappy. Daughter-in-laws on the level of immortals were obviously hard to come by.
Saturday was the day of the nuptials. Wei Wei studied on her own on Saturday morning by going to the library as usual. Resuming, Wei Wei continued to work very hard at her studies. It was impossible to avoid making an attempt. Which kid at this sort of institution, with this kind of professor in computer science, didn't have a first-grade brain? If you got left behind, you would be humiliated and beaten.
Wei Wei kept up her self-study until four o'clock, at which point she became restless. She got ready at five and moved quickly to make her way to the cafeteria. She returned to her quarters after supper and attempted to log in, but Yi Xiao Nai He had disappeared. Since the other people's names were likewise obscure, level-up fanatic Wei Wei went off on her own to attack monsters with her enormous dagger. Her roommates returned just as she was starting to feel comfortable.
There were four beds in Wei Wei's dorm. Apart from Wei Wei, computer science majors Xiao Ling, Si Si, and Er Xi also resided there. In the second year of the Computer Science department, the four of them were the only four female students.
"Wei Wei, please stop having fun. We have a basketball game between Biochem and our professors at approximately six o'clock. Together, let's go, la~. When Xiao Ling was getting dressed, she stated
After eliminating monsters, Wei Wei shook her head and said, "You guys go; I have things to do today."
"Save it; what are you supposed to do? It's just games." Let's go; according to Da Zhong, Xiao Nai is arriving today.
Oh! As it is? Xiao Nai, hey! Together, Si Si and Er Xi let forth a yell.
With stars in her eyes, Wei Wei turned around.
Xiao Ling couldn't stand her roommates, even if she had intended for this effect. You resemble crazy fangirls.[9] Wei Wei is very stable; see her.
"Don't misjudge me; I'm also a fangirl." Wei Wei quickly gestured with her palm.
The four females in Wei Wei's room were really the most reserved fangirls, but some coworkers helped others realize that it was abnormal to not fall head over heels in love with them, even for a little period of time.
Take Xiao Nai, for instance.
One of the influential people at an institution is Xiao Nai from the Computer Science Faculty. Xiao Nai would unquestionably be ranked first if UA had player rankings similar to those found in video games. Despite his extraordinary programming talent and the success the university team had at the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest for three years, which he led, he was also a multi-talented player in guzheng and wei chi (go), and he represented the university in swimming competitions. Not only did he possess magnificent and beautiful attractiveness, but that alone was enough to make most feel inadequate.Whether they chose to or not, it was easy for others to admire him.
Still, fangirling was just that—fangirling. The female faculty members were hesitant to approach and make eye contact with him. He was an uncommon sight on campus, which contributed to the girls' lack of familiarity with him despite their shared department. Another aspect was that others were reluctant to approach him because of his excessively towering stature, arrogant demeanor, and slightly apathetic countenance.
There was only one occasion when Wei Wei saw him, and that was when he was rejecting a girl from another faculty; she had stopped him and given him something that looked like an envelope, most likely a love letter, but instead of taking it, he didn't even look at it once, didn't pause in his steps, and simply walked past.
Oddly, the masculine side of the populace still liked him despite his seeming pride. All the men in the CompSci faculty showed him a great deal of respect. Many of the faculty's brightest members were allegedly persuaded to work with him when he registered and launched his business at an early age.
Since Xiao Nai's parents were academics who taught history and archaeology, there were a number of additional rumors about him, many of which even originated from the professors. It was reported that Xiao Nai's parents were moral, conventional, and non-materialistic, but that changed when she realized in middle school that she could create internet cafés with her cousins. It was the ideal moment to operate an internet café because computers were not widely used at the time. Although those rumors were far more questionable, there were also rumors of large profits from the stock market and real estate.
Wei Wei was one of Da Shen's idols, albeit a somewhat insignificant figure in the CompSci Faculty. Da Shen's old, idle compositions from years ago made up a large portion of the little software items on her computer. It would be much more difficult to look at Da Shen following this year, as he was in his fourth year. Wei Wei examined the game, Yi Xiao Nai His symbol was still in the dark. She glanced at the clock: five forty. With determination, she shut off her computer and made her way to the basketball stadium with her roommates.
It was already packed and raucous when they arrived at the gymnasium. Da Zhong, Xiao Ling's lover, met them at the door and directed them to their assigned seats.
While they were walking, Xiao Ling inquired, "Da Zhong, where's Xiao Nai? You mentioned he would be playing, didn't you?
"Are you coming to see Xiao-ge play or to see me play?" said a disgruntled Da Zhong.
He was not liked by Xiao Ling, who said, "Of course we came for Xiao Nai; you don't have anything to look at."
The other three females nodded. Da Zhong stewed for a long time, almost to the point of near death, and then said, "Xiao-ge is not playing; we don't know if he's coming or not; it seemed like he had something unexpected come up."
The females felt really let down. There were barely 10 watts remaining in their eyes, compared to the 100 watts that were there before. However, everything was still alright because of the gym's environment, which rapidly brightened their spirits.
A tall man with a CompSci basketball team jersey approached them as they waited for the game to start. More precisely, he passed in front of Wei Wei. His head was down, his ears were crimson, and he stammered and was unable to talk.
Three words were running through the minds of Xiao Ling and the others: "It's started again!"
The tall, outgoing lad stammered, as was to be anticipated, after an uneasy silence, "Wei Wei shijie, [11] if we win, can I invite you to dinner?"
With a composed demeanor, Wei Wei questioned, "Will you lose?"
"Obviously not!" With excitement, the kid lifted his head.
"Then, have fun!" Wei Wei depicted the condescending grin that senior citizens bestowed upon the younger generation of Shihis.
Finally! Shijie! I'll triumph, without a doubt!
The little Shidi appeared to have gained momentum as he stepped onto the court to warm up with a basketball.
"... "..." "..."
These were the ideas that Xiao Ling, Er Xi, and Si Si were thinking.
"This little shidi is very gullible," Er Xi observed.
Not surprisingly, Si Si said, "I truly detest these kids who use winning as a means of intimidation." He might even assign Wei Wei the blame for the defeat if Wei Wei refused.
"Our Wei Wei's rejection techniques are getting better and better," said Xiao Ling.
"You flatter me," Wei Wei boasted, sounding mock-modest. There are many opportunities to practice when the numbers add up.
A specific beating was the result that followed. She embodied the quintessential illustration of wanting one.
