Leo who was taking a stroll, suddenly felt a palpitation in his heart.
An uneasy feeling had suddenly gripped him.
Thinking it was because of the people he just killed, he shook it off, not giving it much thought.
As he walked through the forest, Leo kept thinking about the circumstances surrounding his transmigration.
He realized that there was barely any space for Martial Arts in this world.
Even Barbaric Arts were nothing compared to what he had been hearing about the God's.
Thinking about the God's and the Warlocks, Leo suddenly felt lost.
At his level, it was highly likely that he could only barely deal with the weakest Warlocks.
This feeling of powerlessness made him feel empty inside.
~AAAAHHH!!!~
Several muffled screams brought him out of his daydream.
Although he was quite a distance away, Leo's peak human senses allowed him to discern that they were from the village.
Suddenly, his heart palpitated again, and he had a bad feeling...
Not thinking further, Leo rushed towards the village at his fastest speed, the surrounding turning into a blur.
On the way, he sensed a queer scent in the air.
'Is that, Sulphur?'
Leo thought, his bad feeling increasing.
When he got to the village entrance, what he saw rocked him to the core.
A three meters tall, four-armed abomination, was rampaging through the village, destroying any futile resistance the puny villagers were able to come up with.
Even though Leo had rushed here quickly, he was still a step too late, as the last villagers were being slaughtered before his very eyes.
'No! No! No! No!'
Without even daring to believe his own thoughts, Leo made a mad dash into the village, and started frantically searching for his little brother, ignoring the monster that had yet to notice him.
Rushing over to the ruins of his house, he found it empty, before remembering that Little Shawn was supposed to be in the village square.
Eventually, he didn't need to search for long, finding a small corpse a short distance away.
Leo's entire body chilled in that instance as if a bucket of ice-cold water had been poured on him. He knelt in front of the corpse, trembling.
The chill turned into a searing rage in the very next moment.
"LITTLE SHAWN!!!"
Dark clouds covered the skies.
A guttural howl pierced the air.
Holding the almost unrecognizable body in his arms, Leo looked like a madman, as memories flashed by in an instant.
The times of laughter and happiness!
The period of sorrow when they lost their parents!
The determination to raise him well!
Even though Leo wasn't from this world, Little Shawn utterly changed that identity.
Now that he was dead, it was as if Leo's soul was being torn into thousands of pieces.
A pillar of lightning flashed across the skies, illuminating the surroundings, and struck Leo!
If Old Man Bryan was still alive, he would have yelled in shock, as this was the natural awakening process of a Warlock, for the GodKing of lightning nonetheless!
However, it seemed like there was something inside Leo that absorbed the lightning in its entirety, not even leaving behind a trace.

After the series of upgrades, Leo let out another roar. His body expanded slightly before calming down, while his veins pulsed dangerously.
The monster, which by this point Leo had identified as an Aberration, had noticed him and was rushing in his direction, currently just ten meters away.
Leo didn't withhold any power at all, turning in the Aberration's direction and releasing his ultimate move.

Hundred Beast Tide}
The air around Leo was faintly disturbed, picking up speed rapidly, as a faint several meters tall shadow condensed behind him, too blurry to be seen clearly.
When Leo attacked, the blurry shadow let out a soundless bellow, and a large amount of airflow was sent in the direction of the Aberration, giving one the impression of a rampaging beast tide.
And then...
Of course, there was no 'then', everything ended, as the Aberration was ripped to pieces.
The shockwave from the attack even toppled some of the previously unstable nearby houses.
With a blank expression, Leo just stood there.
*Pitter**Patter*
A downpour ensued, as the last vestiges of daylight were consumed, giving way to night.
