Chapter 4 - The Archer of the Phenex, the Hood

Since ancient times, the story of Robin Hood has been a fairy tale, but on Riser's fifth rating game, a hooded woman appeared. Her name spoke volumes and sent shivers down the devils' spines—she was Delia Hood.

As a descendant of the legendary outlaw Robin Hood, Delia possessed enough prowess to destroy an Ultimate Class devil. That was the fact that made the devils fear Riser. Delia would appear only during rating games and would disappear immediately afterward.

When asked about her whereabouts, Riser's answer would always be the same: "Perhaps she is enjoying life somewhere, sipping on a martini." Going against Riser meant making an enemy of the Phenex and, by extension, the Gremory, who held a favorable opinion of Riser.

The reason why Riser was able to find the descendant of the legendary Robin Hood was due to the System that guided him to her. Her goal was to make the name of Robin Hood echo again, and when Riser promised he would make her wish come true, she joined him.

She was surprised at how hardworking the entire peerage was, and upon learning about her abilities, Riser entrusted her with a very dangerous template: [The Super Archer]. Upon hearing the attributes of the template, Delia was shocked by the amount of trust he placed in her.

Rather than treating her as a mere servant, Riser treated her as a friend and gave her the freedom to do whatever she wished, as long as she never sullied the name of the Phenex. Delia agreed, for there was no way she would tarnish her benefactor's name. He had given her a family to rely on.

Even Diehauser Belial, the champion of the rating games, acknowledged her abilities, stating that she could blend herself perfectly and that not even the most perfect offense would detect her. She had become the Robin Hood of the Underworld, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, exposing the terrible deeds of the upper echelons of the Underworld.

Though everyone knew it was her, they couldn't convict her due to the lack of evidence. She could sit in one corner of the world and target someone in another, making her extremely dangerous. Once she set her sights on a target, she could see everything they did.

To become an archer of her caliber, Delia needed to develop undeniable arm strength, which Riser further enhanced through rigorous weight training. On one occasion, she shattered Sairaorg's hands with sheer strength alone, causing everyone to wince in pain.

Ruval saw the great archer doing her workout, which seemed excruciating. Riser called her the super archer, and upon being bestowed the bishop piece, her magical reserves shot through the roof. Riser estimated her abilities to be stronger than his, which made Ruval respect her even more.

Her innate ability, [The Testament of the King of Thieves], granted her the power of [Noble Thievery], allowing her to steal any magical ability, weapon, or inanimate object, only to give it to others. She couldn't use it herself. Any skill she stole would leave a hollow within the target, and the system would analyze the said skill. She was only capable of gifting what she stole rather than using it.

The System worked like a food chain of skills and experience. When each member granted a template by the system developed to a certain level, Riser could absorb the experience, provided he had the mental fortitude to do so.

This experience came with a repertoire of skills and abilities that increased Riser's powers. Only those whom he had granted a template were aware of this fact, and though they knew this was a broken ability, they couldn't speak about it without Riser's approval.

Being a mutated bishop, Delia had gained an immense boost of magic. When Riser estimated that she needed at least four or five bishops to be reincarnated as a devil, he decided to use a mutated bishop piece to grant her the required energy.

The fact that she was a mutated bishop made her incredibly powerful. Her irregular skillset, which allowed her to remain undetected, made her a natural enemy of every supernatural being.

Skillset of Delia Hood: [Demonic magic], [The Testament of the King of Thieves], [Archery], [Magic Enhancement], [Body Augmentation], [Scout]

The Super Archer Template grants the following skills: [Clairvoyance], [Archery Mastery], [Physical Enhancement], [Absolute Concealment], [Magic Sight], [Invisible Arrows], [Perfect Aim], [Unstoppable]

Her attacks pierced through every single obstacle and hit her target without losing power. A target capable of striking from Point A to Point B, destroying everything in her path—that was a fearsome ability. The System notified Riser that she could be eligible for a second template, but he decided to abstain for now.

He asked Delia to train until she felt she had reached her limits so he could give her a second template, and she was fired up. She earned the moniker "The Robin Hood of the Phenex," which made her proud. The second coming of Robin Hood.

The battle lineup of Riser's peerage made him a fearsome opponent, placing him in the top 10 of the rating games alongside his brother, Ruval. Riser Phenex earned the title "The Trojan Horse" of rating games. His confidence and pride as a devil were justified, and his peerage, especially Delia Hood, stood as a testament to his power and strategic genius.
