It was hard for Anna to tell how she felt right now.
Every inch of this place was etched into her soul and would never be forgotten.
She felt like she was out of breath. Pretending to be curious, she asked, "Mr. Robert, is this your home?"
"Uh-huh."
The man nodded slightly and poured her a glass of water, lifting his eyes in the direction of the second floor, "Follow me."
Anna looked at the room she had lived in for years.
"Is Mr. Robert really serious about us?"
She clasped her arms to her chest and smiled brightly, blinking her eyes and saying deliberately, "Do you always bring your love to your house?"
"Yes."
"What?"
Ace turned to stare at her, "Now I believe there is such a thing as retribution."
The words made the woman's eyes narrow.
Anna didn't want to think about the meaning of his words, she just felt a little annoyed. She lowered her head, but she kept her hand in the man's grip.
