The woman didn't look back at him until the end of the dream.
There was only a voice Ace would never forget:
"Ace, this time we're done. I never want to see your face again."

Late at night, smashed furniture could be seen everywhere.
Cigarette butts were everywhere. Ace smoked cigarettes to death.
Ace had always thought he had lost Anna. It wasn't until tonight that he fully realized that Anna hadn't actually gone anywhere. She was right there, and he was the one who had completely lost himself.

Two days later.
As usual, when Anna arrived at Ace's office, the man had gone back to work as normal.
She walked in and sat down at his desk. "You haven't looked for me in two days."
Anna narrowed her eyes slightly, flirting tentatively. "What? You decided to ditch me for that crazy bitch."
It wasn't until then that Ace stopped tapping on the keyboard and finally raised his eyes to look at her.
"No."
"What?"
"I don't want either of you."
