The large hall of the Seo family's house was truly luxurious. Crystal chandeliers brightly illuminated the crowd of groomed people, everyone did their best to get some attention. Seo-yeon floated through the people like a queen, her silk dress glowing in the light the whole time. Still, she was running her mind through some calculations as she wondered what she could do next given that she appeared to be living the high life.
"Seo-yeon!" A familiar voice, snapped through the hum of the crowd. Looking around she found her friend, a girl named Min-ji, coming towards her holding a champagne glass.
"Min-ji," Seo-yeon said, forcing a smile. "Enjoying the party"?
Min-ji looked temptingly naughty. "Always, but I heard there is someone here you are supposed to meet".
Seo-yeon's curiosity piqued. "Well, may I know who that could be?"
Min-ji was about to answer, when a voice cut in. Looking at the screen, the figure of her father Seo Jin-woo, the head of the Seo Family appeared and said happily, "Seo-yeon, where are you? I want to introduce you to someone very important."
Seo-yeon moved around her father then, bowing and smiling at everyone until she reached a magnificent man of great height They exchanged brief, but courteous glances before her father spoke to the man.
"Say hello to this guy, this is Joon-woo, and this is my daughter, Seo-yeon".
Joon-woo opened up his hand and stared right into her eyes. "Hello Seo-yeon, it is nice to meet you".
"I am delighted Mr. Joon-woo". Seo-yeon extended her hand towards him and at the moment she touched his hand, she could feel the charge flowing through her.
"No, call me Joon-woo," He flashed a friendly smile on his lips but there was a glint of something darker in his eyes.
"Then let it be Joon-woo". She smiled at Seo-yeon but the thoughts could not be hidden. It was as if there was something interesting and somewhat sinister in him.
However, the concentrated expression of the young man sitting in front of her changed as soon as he had pushed the dishes away and her father got up to entertain other guests, and he moved closer to Seo-yeon.
"Shall we dance, Seo-yeon?"
She took a second and then she agreed. "I'd love to".
They stepped onto the dance floor and the music began to grow louder. Joon-woo's hand came to rest at the small of her back, and he pulled her into motion with an almost effortlrssly. They moved their body to the rhythm and beats of the song or rather music but dancing had a lot of meaning. It was a 'wordless agreement', its fight.
"Do you trust me, Seo-yeon?" Joon-woo's voice was a low growl and it went straight to her ear; Seo-yeon shivered.
She wanted to take on him, perhaps the defiance in her eyes coming with a very nice indication of curiosity.
"I can't afford to trust you anymore Joon-woo, But I want to know how far this can go. "
There was an arrogant smile absolutely sparkling on his face. "Good. I like a challenge. "
The music became more romantic and Joon-woo took Seo-yeon to the corner of the dance floor. They moved through the waves of glances and murmuring comments until they reached the corner of the room, shielded from everybody's gaze.
Joon-woo looked firmly at the girl and spoke in a rumbled voice. 'I want to know every detail about you, Seo-yeon, your secrets, your desire, all of it. '
Seo-yeon's heart raced. She realized that she was in a very precarious position although the challenge that came with it was quite appealing. "And I want to know you, Joon-woo. Every hidden motive, every dark desire you have."
He pulled her closer and whispered softly to her face. "Well, there goes that notion, let's not waste any more time,".
Their lips finally touched, a claiming bite, a fight for who had to submit to the relationship. Seo-yeon touched his chest and tried to move her hands under his jacket; She felt how warm his skin was. Joon-woo's fingers tangled in her hair, he pulled her head closer to him as the kiss became rougher.
Taking a short pause, the fire flared up in Joon-woo's eyes. "Your room or mine?"
Seo-yeon breathed heavily and said, Oh, as if she was trying not to wake someone in the room. "Yours. "
They move through the long corridors in the mansion with closely knitted steps as they expected something big. Joon-woo then guided Seo-yeon into the bedroom and locked the door from the inside: a move which brought the thrilling feeling of being enclosed with him for a locked-in romantic affair.
The room was a little dark and had shadows moving on the walls. Joon-woo did not even bother to wait, his hands starting to slide off the shoulders of Seo-yeon's gown. She became his personal strip tease and it felt like she stripped in front of him wearing just her underwear and at the same time, she also nursed the aura of power within her.
"You are gorgeous", he whispered and there was a raw desire in his eyes as he looked her over.
Seo-yeon moved in further and began to untie the buttons on Joon-woo's shirt. "Prove it to me how much you want me".
Their garments came off, topless they clinched on the bed, sexually active and embracing hugely. Seo-yeon also felt a burning desire inside her every time Joon-woo touched her as if it was both commanding and gentle. He was agitated like most of them were, the anxiety of the business, the need to get a promotion, the need to be satisfied.
In one of the scenes when their love-making was at the climax, Seo-yeon looked triumphant. She understood that this was just the start and she would utilize this opportunity to get what she wanted. But it was in that one second, that she relinquished herself to the pleasure denying herself the comfort that came with Joon-woo's arms.
Then they slept embraced; the breathing of their face was hoarse and deep and filled the room. Joon-woo drawing circular patterns on Seo-yeon's body, spoke to her softly. "It's not over you know"?
Seo-yeon got a glimpse of a devilish grin on her lips, I wouldn't have it any other way.
The couple spent the rest of the night in a haze of passion and pillow talk, and they continued in their physical and carnal pursuits, building them into a tangled web of passion and success. Finally concluding that the real game commenced at dawn. She came prepared for the game and for sure, she set her mind and heart to get the victory.
Seo-yeon woke up and looked at the curtains through which the sun was trying to warm the room gently, and it was early morning. She yawned, for her muscles felt slightly sore, all rather a pleasant feeling after the night's endeavors. Joon-woo looked at her, he was lying beside her and his face held a content look on it.
"Good morning," he greeted with a low tone of voice that had a growl-like tone to it.
"Good morning". Seo-yeon sat up and tried to cover herself with the sheet". I should go. Lots of work is waiting for me".
Joon-woo touched her gently and grabbed her arm. Sometimes people in the family may use the following encouraging words to their relative or friend who is insisting on leaving early:
Seo-yeon shook her head. Of course, you and I both know this is just the start; there are many things to discuss, plans to hormonal, and strategies to formulate.
Joon-woo opened his eyes and sat up, looking rather solemn. "That's true," she said as she nodded "But Seo-yeon this game is not about loyalty or about who you can trust easily".
Seo-yeon only looked at him, nodding her head vigorously. "I will. You, Joon-Woo, should know that I am not the type of person who can be trampled on".
He chuckled. As if he expected this. "I wouldn't dream of it".
Seo-yeon put on her clothes a little bit faster, her thoughts were already plotting the next actions. Seo-yeon repeated this to herself as she walked out of Joon-woo's suite and she felt the determination rise in her so much. This meeting with Joon-woo had been a rude wake-up call, reminding her of what she is capable of. She was more than prepared to meet any adversity that would come with it.
Silently she returned to the master bedroom that was given to her in the mansion. She tempted herself and paused by a window, she gazed outside the mansion at the vast compound. The future was hers for the taking and she had every plan of dominating it.
The following day Seo-yeon wound up in her father's study, where they began to talk about incidents that took place the night before.
"Joon-woo is a strong partner", her dad noted, still very calm. Yet he is also a danger to others and you. Be careful.
"I will, Father," Seo-yeon repeated finally. "But I think we can turn him to our side. I believe we can use him to our advantage."
Her father smiled a kind of approval that gleamed in his eyes. "Good. Always consider what is several moves ahead, Seo-yeon. That is how you will live in this world".
Seo-yeon stepped out of the study with a lot of new ideas running through her mind. She understood that there are many risks that are characteristic of the further path, but she was ready for it. With Joon-woo with her always—or at least under her command—she felt practically bulletproof.
While passing through the large stately interior of the house, Seo-yeon could hardly restrain herself and smiled.
The game was on and she had the intention to come out a winner.
