As I wake up, my eyes are stocky. The breezy cold wind coming from my window hits my face.
"what a good day," I thought to myself.
I got up, stretching my arms and legs out. My arms and legs popped, it was a graceful feeling... Little did I know, what was to come this day. As I stood up, I walked to my bathroom. Looking in the mirror, I smiled.
My face was a clean dark brown, my eyes light purple, and I had stunning long black hair. 2 long bangs were on the front of my hair, each sprouting to different sides.
I took a shower and bath.
[50 minutes later].
I got out of the shower and bath, drying myself off. I walked to my room, the water dripping down my legs and hair.
"Time to look good today." I said to myself, I thought of myself as a good looking man, so did everyone else. I mean my six foot height may have helped a little.
"Let's see." I said as I grabbed a black trench coat, I put it on my bed, and I grabbed a white shirt. Along with white pants.
"I'll look good in this," that's what I thought to myself, and I looked at my clock necklace on my wall. It was something my father and mother gave me, I cherish it in my heart.
"If anything happened to this... I don't know what I would do."
I grabbed my necklace, and put it on my bed. My clothes are ready now I just need socks and shoes, i grabbed sleek black oxfords. And matching black socks.
I put on my clothes, then my necklace and coat. It looked great, it was simple yet fashionable and made me look good.
I walked out of my front door, locking it behind me. My clock necklace glistened a light blue, it was just stunning.
"... beautiful..." My eyes were slightly widened, of course I was surprised. This was an old clock.
It was almost... Otherworldly in a way. Never have I seen this, but I need to go to work. I'm a clock constructor and writer.
"Crap! I'm almost late!" I ran to work, making a left on my street. People looked at me, their stares boring into my soul. But it wasn't time to pay attention to that.
I passed multiple houses and stores, finally I arrived at my job. I was panting heavily and I was exhausted along with being tired, I looked up at my boss.
He was an old man, his eyes were dull and black, and he had a long scar going down his right eye. He was Caucasian, but despite his appearance he was a gentle and kind person.
"H-hey Mr. Brin" I said, my voice was quiet.
"Hey Jikan." The boss responded, his voice was deep and grimy. He had a gentle smile, is what I wish I could say.
His smile was horrifying, but I know there was no malice behind it. So I stood up, finally getting my energy up.
"How have you been?" I said with a smile.
"I've been great, getting older but never better!" He had a hearty laugh, but started coughing. Instinctively I reached my hand out.
"Are you okay?" I said with worry, but Mr. Brin just smiled.
"I'm fine." He said with a big grin.
"Okay that's good." I breathed out, I held my breath and didn't realize. How reckless could I be? I let out a chuckle.
My left hand was trembling just a tiny bit... Hopefully he doesn't pass, his birthday is tomorrow and I got him a cherry blossom tree.
I walked to the counter.
"So Mr. Brin, how's your daughter?" I said with a forced smile.
"She's doing well, hopefully she can visit tomorrow." He let out a small rough chuckle, he hasn't seen his daughter in four years.
"Me too." I chuckled. And had a real smile it wasn't forced, and I didn't even realize.
When I looked away I heard ticking, I looked at my necklace... It was moving.
"Jikan your necklace is glowing?!" Mr. Brin said in surprise and awe.
My clock started floating, and it was coated in a beautiful ethereal gold light. I looked in awe and confusion.
"Huh?" I was floating as well, everything was floating around me. The next moment I blinked, I was in a green grass filled field. It was ever so stretching, behind the sight of any human.
When I looked around, I saw multiple people. They were all confused as well, where were we? And why are we here?
"Is someone here to help?!" I yelled out, I was scared and in fear. Trembling, my legs were like a bunch of spaghetti noodles.
I looked around, and saw a small green thing. It had a loincloth covering its groin area, and its nose was sharp and long. Its skin is filled with pimples and bumps, it was holding a tiny club. And it had sharp teeth.
It was disgusting.
"Ew." I said out of reaction, in that singular moment. Dread washed over me, it bashed in some guys face.
I tried getting up but I couldn't... What was I supposed to do? I'm in danger and can't move, what bullcrap.
"Move!" I had tears falling down my face, I looked at my legs. They were trembling as if it was under the weight of gods.
"Move! Dang it... I'm going to die." I looked down, my eyes were emotionless.
Multiple thoughts and emotions running through my mind.
"+&;8#-#!28_-$(#-+" it was incomprehensible, my thoughts were like a wild boar running from a predator...
I looked up, and there it was. The monster was in my face, Looking at me like food.
