"please can you tell why you are here and how did you get in here ?"Jason asked obviously irritated
"Oh hun is that the way to welcome your wifey after a long time apart?"Ann said seductively.
Ann left Jason a year ago,he had been so heart broken that he didn't want the word love to exist anymore.But on that fateful night of his heartbreak a new ray of light shone on him driving the darkness Ann had left on his soul away.
FLASHBACK
"my love what is wrong,have I done anything to upset you?"Jason said with tears filled eyes
"can't you see I'm tired of you,can't you see my happiness doesn't lie with you anymore" she said folding her clothes into her bag.
"please don't leave me,I promise to be a better companion"
"Jason if you love me then let me go,let me experience true happiness please" she said as she pushed him away walking into the cold night with her belongings.
Jason couldn't believe he had lost her,they graduated a year ago and everything was going fine so what could have gone wrong.He wanted to go after her but his knees were too weak to move,she had broken him.He's never going to give love a second chance ,love is wicked,cruel, heartless and it breaks even the strongest man.He was not going to partake in it anymore.
He decided to go for a walk and clear his head he wasn't an alcoholic he would have drank instead.
he stood at the park wondering why love choose to show him it's ugly side instead.
"what a beautiful sight right?" a voice brought him back from the realms of his thought.
Staring at the young school girl still in her uniform he wondered if she too was heartbroken and decided to come clear her head here as well.
"Not at all "Jason replied coldly
"Are you mad ?this is the most beautiful sight to behold"she said smiling beautifully at him.
If Jason wasn't heartbroken he would have complemented her smile.
"Don't let them fool you,love isn't so beautiful it has ugly sides as well.its unjust and unfair to most who engage in it" Jason said sobbing.
"You're actually crying before a girl! guy find that pretty embarrassing" she said feeling uneasy watching a grown man cry.
Jason felt like walking away but talking to her served as a distraction to his pain well maybe just a little.
"what's your name?"Jason asked avoiding her statement
"Kara and yours?" she said stretching her hands to him. Jason stared at her hands for some time and then back to her face
"Didn't your mom teach you not to talk to strangers?" he said knoting his brows
"Oh please you talk like you're an elder to me"
"Of course I am"
"I'm eighteen how old are you?"
"Telling you seems childish to me"he said walking away.
"Now I know why she left you,cause you are so annoying" she said rolling her eyes and did not see the displeasure in the young man's face.
"what did you just say?"
"Pretty sure you heard me the first time"she said folding her arms across her chest
"Well you're wrong,she's didn't leave because of me she left because she's mean, cruel and unfaithful all women are" he said walking away
For some reasons Kara felt hurt by his words seems whoever his lover is she really broke him and now he had the wrong persception of women.
"What if I can prove to you that women are not the same,would you give love a second chance?"Kara said with expectations.
