The bell went after a long lesson in class and it was lunch time.Mia searched for Kara and signalled her that she needed to get something to eat.Kara came closer and they were about leaving when someone bumped into Kara,Mia turned and saw that it was Ryan.Just when Kara was going to rain abuses on whoever it was Mia covered her mouth.Her eyes widened with shock when she saw it Ryan.
"oh sorry",he said as he brushed pass the girls,Kara nodded indicating it was okay,he then winked at Mia and she turned blank.
Kara turned in amusement to Mia and then back to Ryan who was already leaving for the school canteen with Mason.
"Did he just wink at you?",she asked with excitement written all over her face.
"Get use to it baby girl"Mia smiled then they left for the canteen also.
when they got there,Mia saw Ryan sitting with Mason and that jerk Nath.They made eye contact and he winked at her again,Mia blinked and didn't know how to react,one thing she knew was that Ryan way definitely driving her crazy.She looked away immediately.Ryan smiled knowingly and continued his conversation with his friends.
Kara and Mia went to a table to have lunch and the whole time Mia kept exchanging glance with her beloved,it was indeed a magical moment.
After half an hour the bell went again indicating the end of the lunch break.Ryan saw Mia at her locker collecting some books,he wondered where that loud friend of hers was,he decided to approach before Kara pops up from nowhere.
Ryan stood behind her locker,she was done collecting the books and when she closed her locker she was so scared,her book flung across his face and hit his face"ouch my nose",Ryan whines in pain.
"Ryan",she called out to him
"are you okay" she said sounding really worried.At that moment they were both lost in each other's eyes ,Ryan only loved her more seeing how much she cared.Ryan raised his hand indicating that he was fine.If only he knew what was coming after all the care.
"Why did you have to stand behind my locker like that"she scolded him like a strict mom.This is unbelievable,Ryan was in shock.She broke his nose yet she was scolding him.
"Well cause I wanted to prank you" he replied
"And where has it landed you now?"
"with a broken nose I guess"Ryan replied in pain.
Mia was on the verge of exploding with laughter but she suppressed it,Ryan read through her and wondered what amused her
"Go on laugh it would make me feel much better"he stood straight so he could access her eyes properly she really had pretty eyes that could penetrate even the darkest soul..
just then Mia noticed his nose was bleeding "Ryan your bleeding"her expression changed from that of excitement to that of worry.
Ryan used his hands to wipe his nose and then it dawned on him he didn't have a watery nose buh he was actually bleeding.
"Enough of your jokes,I'll take you to the school nurse. come with me"she said taking his hand.
Ryan felt shivers down his spine as her smooth palm was rapped around his,he felt his pain disappear,he followed her without altering a word.
And this was the beginning of his love story
