Once upon a time, there was a kind young boy named Lim. One day, he embarked on a dungeon quest but forgot to bring his sword. Suddenly, a goblin appeared. Lim tried to hide, but the goblin could smell him. The goblin growled and approached Lim's hideout. Lim shook with fear, his breathing growing louder and louder. The goblin heard him.

Lim, trembling, attempted to run, but his legs wouldn't move. He found himself face to face with the goblin. The goblin lunged at him, but Lim managed to dodge just in time. Suddenly, he remembered the spell his father had taught him. Lim cast a fireball spell, but it was too weak. The goblin attacked repeatedly, and all Lim could do was dodge and counter with his feeble spell.

Exhausted, Lim used his final bit of mana to cast one last fireball. This time, it hit the goblin squarely, defeating it. Lim collapsed, victorious but drained, having survived his first dungeon quest against all odds.

After Lim defeated the goblin, he heard a loud noise echoing through the dungeon. Despite his fear, he decided to search for the source. He discovered an unexplored part of the dungeon and cautiously entered. To his shock, he encountered an SSS-rank Elder Elf in a level D rank dungeon.

Lim tried to run, but the elf was too fast. Preparing for the worst, Lim braced himself, but instead of attacking, the elf spoke. "I am Mendar. My time is almost up. Before I die, I want to give you something. But first, let me tell you, the world is on the brink of destruction by the demon lord. I want you to inherit my powers and defeat him for me. I don't have much time to explain."

With that, the elf grabbed Lim's hand and transferred his powers to him. The elf then disappeared, and Lim fell into a deep sleep.

When Lim woke up in his bed, he thought it had all been a dream. But when he checked his status, he was shocked by what he saw.
