As Eli spent more time in the world of Terra, he realized one thing: all the women were strikingly beautiful. He surmised it must be magic, as there was no other explanation. These women could easily be models in his own world and were often stronger than most men, with magic serving as the great equalizer here. Now, one of these beauties was weeping in his store.
"...and then, 'sniff,' Tabitha hit me with the broom 'sniff' for spending all our money again on 'sniff' my magic research."
Eli had to facepalm, having thought it was a serious issue. But it turned out this witch, akin to a mad scientist, had depleted her funds and was now fleeing from her apprentice, who was trying to discipline her.
"So, I was wondering 'sniff' if you could purchase my magic products, 'sniff' so I can recoup my funds."
Eventually, Willow was cheerfully leading him to her magic shop, which was unattended since Tabitha was outside searching for her. Upon reevaluating her products, Eli realized they were essentially death traps, yet the system store was ready to offer a handsome sum of SMP for them.
The product that intrigued him the most was Willow's Mobile Sanctuary. It generated an impenetrable force field that blocked all attacks and dark creatures temporarily. However, while active, it also acted as a beacon, drawing every monster from kilometers around, rendering it useless.
After reviewing all of Willow's products, Eli had invested over four million gems in her magical wares, and was going to get around thirteen MSP. In return, she presented him with a large leather messenger bag, imbued with her finest enchantments, excluding any experimental ones. She also vowed to offer him any new inventions she created.
After confronting Beatrice, he realized that he was very far from the top dogs in this world. And went to the Adventurers Guild, purchasing multiple of their combat skills and purchased Skill Scrolls. He was going to milk his Adventures title for as much as he could.

After enhancing his Alchemy Skill, he received the subsequent two volumes, enabling him to concoct Minor and Regular Potions. Upon returning to his store, he was not overly surprised to find that the shady tailors had broken in and stocked his floor with the necessary ingredients. After checking on Bonnie and finding her still resting, he delivered her lunch and returned to the lab.
Eli had crafted so many potions in the past few hours that he couldn't display them all and had to store the excess in the building's storage room. The Lesser Healing Potion now restored 7.25% of health and continued to restore 1.45% of health for a minute and twenty-five seconds, with all other potions experiencing a similar enhancement. For now, he refrained from using the Regular Potion and diluted it into 250 weaker potions.
"A weak Antidote and a weak Elixir of Health Potion daily should cure your child. Ensure she takes both in the morning for a week straight after a substantial meal, so her body can support the healing process."
Eli set out fourteen bottles of the diluted potions on the counter, as the young child could not withstand the potency of the actual potions. Having attained E and D Rank, the two Alchemy books provided him with sufficient health knowledge to qualify as a certified doctor.
"Thank you, thank you so much, sir!"
The middle-aged mother, clutching her frail daughter, wept tears of joy. Her hands shook as she received the potions, treating them as if they were the most delicate objects in the world, and she carefully placed them in her bag.
"You have no idea how much this means to me, sir. We can't afford doctors... everyone else I approached said there was nothing they could do for her."
Gratitude filled the mother's face as tears flowed unabated.
"I'm just glad to be of assistance, ma'am."
Eli responded, tipping his hat with a warm smile.
These moments genuinely softened his prejudiced views against other races and brought him a sense of fulfillment. Although he wasn't earning much as a doctor, he was aiding those in need, which helped counteract his negative traits. Despite the occasional challenging encounters with demanding individuals, the expressions of gratitude and tears of joy compensated for it all.
"Sir, I can't express how grateful I am. I came as soon as I heard about your shop. You were my last hope."
The mother appeared as if she would embrace him in a crushing hug if not for her daughter in her arms, and he wouldn't have minded much.
"I just hope your daughter recovers quickly."
Eli's words brought more tears, and the woman was overwhelmed.
The mother reached over the counter and pulled him into a one-armed hug, whispering her thanks in his ear while crying. He allowed the embrace, even gently patting her back. Eventually, she let go, and with a tearful farewell, she left the shop.
With no more customers, he wished to end the day positively. The interaction had significantly altered his views on other races, nearly moving him to tears. The memory of her thankful gaze would stay with him for a long time.
After securing the shop, Eli ventured outside the city to locate the three Wolfpack territories indicated on his map.
