Saint stood in front of the black door, like every other door in the hallway without any difference.
He stood in front with mixed feelings. The door looks ordinary but only a few of them can feel the tremendous amount of energy flowing through it. Like Joseph had described, the energy does feel like leftover or residue of a former magic blast.
It only felt like that because it is only a shield spell. The real strong spell on the door is the lock.
The lock spell.
A lock spell have been placed on it. Unlike every lock spell he have seen it is very...different
"Get one each of every creature type and they should be on the same level. Above the high stage"
Saint ordered hastily.
Beauty waved her hands and a guard bowed and turned around to leave.
She also had a serious face on. The situation is beyond what she predicted rather expected.
Different things have been going on left and right with the girl Winter. This is one of the mysteries surrounding her.
What other one will they unlock?
Joseph narrowed his eyes understanding what Saint was planning
But the plan felt off to him. The energy has a slight resemblance to the energy in the house dungeon. But the energy in the dungeon isn't quite an energy, it's something a whole lot more.
Something capable of destroying the world's as it is!
If this energy on the door is much more powerful than it, then won't breaking it cause catastrophic results?!
Saint nodded reassuringly at him as if he had read his thoughts.
"It won't fail" he reassured.
A moment later the guard entered with a few people in tow.
The students bowed excitedly on seeing the people inside.
"Their energy is not enough" Joseph said.
Saint nodded acknowledging it. Although the energy in the students is burning bright, it's light couldn't compare to the ones formerly in the hallway.
"Yes it isn't"
"But we are going to add our energies and break that door down" Saint said enthusiastically.
The crowd felt their mouths twitching.
Dave squinted his eyes and the image of a man in a cheerleading outfit appeared.
'he might have been a good cheerleader in his days'
The man with the supposed cheerleading outfit gave instructions to the students.
Beauty brows wrinkled on hearing the plan. She pursed her lips and said in a soft voice.
"Won't that collapse the whole building?"
" Yes it will"
Dave also frowned at the man.
Is one of the reason we called you is not to alert the dean?
Beauty opened her mouth but ultimately closed it, swallowing her words.
The man's eyes can lit up the room with the extreme excitement in them. Better not dampen his mood.
That's right. Saint whole body radiated excitement, he haven't been in action for decades and the sleeping energy in him clawed to awake. He had finally met a worthy for capable of making his raging energy satisfied.
"Um question"
A student raised her hand asking timidly.
"Why do you want us to destroy this dorm building?"
The other students nodded in agreement. No one wanted their heads to be taken by the dean.
"We are not destroying the building" Saint shook his head.
" Because I will be outside keeping it together"
The shut her opened mouth and gulped down the words of objection.
"I just need you guys to focus on breaking that lock"
" A lot concentration"
Joseph nodded. A lack of focus can backfire heavily!
"Good luck guys" Saint walked out.
Although excited to fight, there are only two supreme level witches in there, he and Joseph. One of them have to stay back to break the spell.
Only Joseph have a bit of familiarity with the spell and it will work faster with him.
'i hope they will be okay'
If a no casualty comes out it will be the best.
Joseph isn't someone that cares about others well being. He believes in people having the ability to protect themselves. Only Winter is an exception to this rule.
"Okay let's begin" Joseph said.
The students nervously but confidently stepped forward.
Deep breaths, and casting out.
The students are trained fourth year with experiences, casting out their energies as a form of attachment is easy.
Joseph eyes waited till the swirl of various colors mixed with the door's energy.
The foreign energy fought effortlessly against the intruding energies. The energies were quickly knocked out.
"Ack!" A student fell back a trickle of blood flow down her chin. Her face look shockingly bloodless!
"Continue" Joseph ordered.
"What?!"
The student looked up at Joseph with a bewildered look.
Joseph gave her a light glance, his gaze feeling like a thousand fire ants on her body. The instinctive fear of Joseph surfaced in through her mind.
The girl shrunk and forced down the remaining blood down her throat. She returned back to the door trying her best to stay awake.
The rest of the students scared out of their wits also silently gulped down their words of protests, casting out their energies.
"No quitting"
Beauty sneered looking down on the people at the door. 'Still as naive as ever'
The body of supernatural creatures is very resilient!
If they run out of energy it will be restored by Saint and at worst they will become to human beings.
But..the purpose of Joseph pushing them this hard isn't to break the lock.
It is to prepare for him to break the lock!
And for them to prepare for that they need to bring out their true energy.
Energy have long become impure with the exposure to other types and for the purest of a creature energy to be released they have to be pushed to the very limit.
At that point they become truly pure and more powerful!
This is the training every heir goes through.
Soon the sounds of clothes ripping sounded.
Wings, fur,smoke,tail. A sudden explosion of true form emerged among the students.
The students have long focused on breaking the door down they didn't notice the little bits of clothes remaining on their body.
Joseph lips raised a slight arch and he stretched his own hand.
His eyes followed the trail of his energy darting between the clash of energies.
Until finally..
Reaching the energy core.
