The energy had grown a core in a corner of the door. After having the same magic repeated on it several times it mutated on its own and grew a core.
Almost like the school's fence.

A crack finally appeared after some minutes of battling with the core. The second crack appeared.
Joseph quickly shifted his energy focus to invade the core and cast out the former lock.

The students still focused on releasing their energy didn't hear the order and couldn't leave while the others are going.
Joseph gritted his teeth and kept on containing the energy.
"Go!" He ordered again, more urgent than the last.
The few students snapped out of their trance and walked out immediately realizing the serious situation.
Joseph held his stance and stared coldly at the door. Everything had been going according to the plan.
The energy although foreign,contained all types of supernatural creatures energy, all pure!.
But they weren't sure of the ratio.
While each person released their energy he focused on the energy movement and waited for the right time to release his.

The leaking energy had been gathering into their body as the second source and it is ready to self destruct!
If the energy didn't try to merge with his, he wouldn't have noticed the looking danger.
He turned a hand towards the people leaving and the other at the door. Using himself as a channel, he redirected the energy back to the door.
Filtering the energy while trying to make it not merge with his or self destruct brought great pain to him.
He gritted his teeth and continued.

They felt pity for the girl. She is obviously the first one to die for saying such a rude thing!
The guards in the side felt their mouths twitching heavily.

Joseph didn't reply and just stretched his head and a green color energy floated from his hands and surrounded the students head.
Soon after he released and walked away with the rest of the earlier entourage.
The students woke up one after the other and looked at each other in confusion. Their eyes contained a lot of suspicion looking around.
They opened their mouths to talk but closed it.
"He spared us?" The mermaids said unsure. It isn't like the ruthless style of Joseph Powers!
"Maybe he felt indebted to us" The vampire replied enthusiastically.
The witch stood for a moment and shook his head.
"No he didn't spare us and no he didn't feel indebted to us"

He might have felt it troublesome to dispose of them since it felt like he didn't want the dean to find out about whatever is going on.
So he just chanted a memory wiping spell.
