Nynette didn't think about it for long and shrugged.
She already her wings and flew away.
Joseph on the other hand feels something is also wrong with the boy and Jude.
Firstly Jude became someone whose relationship with his sister improved, then suddenly his sister have a new friend she is willing to even spend days with.
'what is she up to?'
His mother had asked him to find out what she is doing lately and so far all he have is she is looking for someone.
'why?' he wondered.
He pushed all the questions swirling in his head aside and focused on finding out where his sister is.

Jude looks calm but that boy can lie unfazed and no one will know. The other one is obviously more terrible at it with his constant sweating and fidgeting.
He would have believed their excuse and attributed the cowardly boy behavior to been nervous in his presence however something else made him change his mind.
He can't read the boy's thoughts.
He can read everyone's thought except Jude's since his power directly disrupts that. As long as he is stronger than the caster of the protective spell he can read anyone's thoughts.
Everyone believes his mother, Josephina is the most powerful person alive not minding his quiet development. He had enough cover to quietly develop his powers.
He had leveled up to a section higher in the god level making him the strongest person alive and that qualifies him in hearing the boy's thoughts.
Only one reason why he can't hear the boy's thoughts.
There is someone stronger than him within the people around the school.
A sharp look emerged in his eyes as he looked towards the tall office building the powers school operation is run from. That tall building can be seen anywhere in the school.
He raised his hand and knocked on the door in front of him.
Soon a slim curvaceous lady appeared in front of him.
She put on a gentle smile.
"Welcome" Kira soft and sweet voice sounded elegantly and politely.
"Mm" Joseph hummed and nodded.
She shifted to the side for him to enter watching his cool and straight back with a hint of obsession.
'he is different again'
The slight difference didn't escape her. She had always put a watch on him and knows how he changes everytime.
This is too slight for people to notice but for her that he is in the center of her world she noticed every slight thing and carefully note it.
After all she needs everything about him.
Joseph slightly frown feeling the deep eyes boring into his back.
He went to sit in his usual spot, like his sister always favors a one seater.
Kira walked in and locked the door again.
Everyone in their friend group is here except Jude for some unknown reasons.
"Hey Joseph" Dave casually greeted cheerfully.
Joseph cold eyes froze deeper. This man scent is full of girls perfume filling the air, worsening as he moved his body.
"Mm" Joseph nodded.
"You are no fun! Always like this! Come on, I will introduce you to some pretty girls any type you want, big, small, cute, sexy.."
Joseph silently moved his gaze away not paying anymore attention.
"Dave"
Kira said in a low voice sounding extremely displeased. Who doesn't know she is interested in Joseph?!
Dave stopped and looked at her expecting more.
"Maybe later?" He wasn't scared of her and moved his attention to Joseph back. He believed women should listen to him lot the other way around..ahem..except on the bed.
"Or not"
Seeing Joseph usual unresponsive behavior he gave up.
Kira clenched her fist and took deep breaths.
"This place is such a bore!" Nynette complained breaking the weird atmosphere.
"It wasn't meant to be fun" Beauty said seriously looking cold and serious.
Nynette turned to the girl with a deep sneer on her lips.
"Then what is it?"
"I wonder how I became your friend" she added.
Beauty lifted her cool and serious eyes and little traces of disdain could be seen if looked closely.
"You begged" she replied in her serious voice.
Nynette didn't hear her and was busy looking down at her phone, managing to keep the peace then.
"Have anybody noticed that waste Winter haven't attended any classes for a few days now?" Nynette said sneaking a few glanced towards Joseph and like what she suspected he didn't know.
Joseph slightly furrowed his brows confused. Winter should still be attending classes even if she isn't in her apartment for now.
He had asked the teachers to notify him if she isn't in class but they couldn't since he too is gone.
"Yeah. Her phone is also off and I can't get through to her the past few days too"
Said Kira. Honestly it didn't bother her. Winter had changed, a lot since this year began and maybe this is just one of her whims.
Joseph brows furrowed noticably now.
Haven't been reached for a few days?!
What happened to his sister?!
He stood up worried and walked to the door.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Kira asked hurriedly stopping him.
" To find Winter" Joseph replied shortly.
"Am sure she is fine somewhere but we need to finish this" Beauty said a little angrily.
Joseph clenched his teeth angrily and held the anger brewing holding onto that last bit of patience.
"She is missing for a few days and you say she is fine?! Are you thinking properly?!"
Kira said jumped up angrily.
Since Joseph is worried she must be worried.
Beauty pursed her lips.
"What about this?"
Joseph walked close to her and said quietly.
"She is 'this' "
He walked out and went straight towards Jude's father condo. Jude knows something about his sister and that coward that follows his sister would have escaped from her apartment. So Jude's place is his first destination.
Kira followed him full of energy.
"She will be fine" she comforted gently.
" If she is not.."
Kira eyes dimmed.
'then we are all dead!'
