Jude stood up extremely panicked and huge burst of power rushing back to him. Soon blood flowed down his nose.
"Someone is missing!" He said in a distraught voice.
Devon stood up and walked over briskly to him.
"Calm down and try to search for the person again" Devon said calmly.
He had felt the power thrums from him earlier and know he his doing a good job at keeping an eye on the people outside so he didn't bother to add any tracking spells to them and instead got busy with his own devices. He was confused when he saw him retract the magic in a hurry and thought it was making the people in the club faint like earlier.
"I have done that several times" Jude replied pissed. For once in a long time his magic has failed him.
Devon nodded and sent his own magic trail out. After a few minutes he frowned and his eyes grew deep, a low and suffocating spread out steadily like a deadly prey.
Jude shrunk back in fear, in the car he hadn't felt the so called aura but now that he is alone he can feel all it's full force. It is suppressing him making him subconsciously want to run or fall in I'm fear.
"Let's go" Devon said his tone gloomy and deadly.
They went to the dance floor first since it's closer.
The speakers have been fixed with a lot of people now dancing than entangling it took them quite a while to find Tobias dancing with someone.
"Hey guys" Tobias waved to them first.
"Come on let's go" Jude said to him dragging him away.
"You can't just take my companion like that" The person Tobias was dancing with held Jude tightly.
Jude frowned, the alcohol breath hit him heavily making him choke for a second.
He shook his head and turned to go away.
"Am talking to you" The man swung his fist at Jude.
Jude calmly tilt his head and continued with his walk. He would never bother with a drunk man.
"Let go of him you bitch!" The man forcefully twisted Tobias hand away from Jude's grip.
"Let go of me" Tobias removed his hand from his dance partner grip and walked forward to where Jude and Devon were already waiting for him.
"Do you know who I am?! I can make your life a living hell!"
The drunk man yelled hastily.
Jude turned to look back at him.
"Who are you?" He asked word by word forcing them out of his clenched teeth.
The drunk man smirked proudly thinking he has won" I am in room fifty in the platinum hostel for the freshmen"
Jude sneered, he is even in the lowest among. The platinum hostel is for the highest among highest, where the board kids also stay.
The drunk man smirked got wider. This person will also be conquered by him.
"You are afraid now right?! You know what, if you can beg me now and come with me to my room I will reluctantly let you go"
Jude's eyes turned cold, the gaze on his body was particularly disgusting and lecherous making him uncomfortable.
This man has probably done things like this to a lot of people and it worked for his arrogance to go this deep.
"Do something about this" Jude faced Devon and said lightly.
Devon didn't really care about this matter as it is very common, he too had tried in the beginning but no solution. This is the system Josephina created and has been supported, to do something about it is to be done by Josephina herself.
But considering he is Winter's friend, he will give him some face.
"Let's go" Devon said and the trio left.
As soon as they left, hefty man came and picked up the troublemaker dragging him to a different room away from everything.
None of them mentioned the fact Tobias was dancing with a man. They all tactfully agreed to forget about that.
"Wait" Jude picked up a signal from the vibrations he had sent out before leaving the private room. The signal was weak barely noticable as if faintly alive.
"We need to get there fast!"
Tobias tensed up his heart hung up in his mouth, they had explained what was happening to him and he understood the situation. In a quiet place in his heart he hoped it is Papillon that went missing, if it was Winter, he would live in the club from now on. Joseph eyes flashed through his mind. He forced those thoughts down and started a prayer.
"Am picking up a signal but it's only one" Jude said.
Their heart tensed up wondering who the person is.
Jude followed the signal leading them several hallways. They finally came to an opening. It is filled with private rooms where Winter said she will go check.
At that moment the breath they were unconsciously holding released and they felt lightweight. They won't admit it but they sort of hoped Winter didn't go missing.
The consequences will be unimaginable!
Jude stopped and waited walking around in circles.
"The signal is erratic" he informed the other two.
Tobias couldn't help but stifle a laugh.
Devon looked at him oddly.
"He just reminds me of an antenna" he said shrinking back.
'this man is too scary!'
He suddenly remembered he can't think here, the man can still hear. Casting a sideway glance at Devon the latter still looked normal, if normal is cold and deathly frightening.
"There" Jude pointed to a seemingly normal room.
Until they walked towards it before seeing red blood on the floor. Papillon is a fairy so she has multi coloured blood but Winter has red. Seeing the blood is some sort of relief and tension. Seeing the red means Winter is inside but the red also means she is injured.
With one heart they opened the door.
"Aah!" Tobias yelped.
The room is destroyed with lots of blood everywhere and signs of struggle. Nail marks, burnt mark and huge dents! A huge battle happened here.
Devon eyes grew murky, how couldn't he have noticed something was happening here. This dimension is linked to him, if anything happens he directly feels it how could this have gone unnoticed!
And no one can use magic here! it's a rule he created in his pocket dimension.
"Guys!" Tobias called their attention.
They walked over to check behind the overturned sofa and a hand sticked out under it.
"Help" a faint voice said.
