Chapter 5 - Humiliation

Stel threw Tyler's body out the window.

"Thud!"

The body hit the ground with a loud crash. The nearby zombies, aimlessly wandering around, instantly picked up the sound. They immediately started running towards the corpse.

"Ahhhhh!!!!"

Drawn by the sound, the zombies sniffed at the body.

"Hissss—!"

Although Tyler had been dead for less than two days, his body still retained some human scent. This residual scent was extremely tempting to the zombies, like a delicious meal placed right before them.

The zombies opened their bloodthirsty mouths and began to devour Tyler's corpse. In no time, half of Tyler's body was consumed by the zombies. The remaining zombies took bites wherever they could find flesh.

Stel watched with great interest from above. Suddenly, he felt it wasn't enough. He turned to Elsie, who was still lying in the living room.

"Come here."

Upon hearing Stel's voice, Elsie didn't dare hesitate for a moment. She crawled across the floor to Stel's side.

Stel didn't say much; he just grabbed Elsie by the neck with one hand, lifting her up entirely. Then he pressed Elsie's head against the windowsill.

"Look down."

Elsie followed Stel's instruction and looked down. Below, the zombies were feasting on Tyler's body with delight. The scene made Elsie feel sick to her stomach.

"Gag—!"

Elsie vomited, the sound catching the attention of the zombies below. They looked up, their bloody mouths wide open, staring at her.

Elsie was paralyzed with fear.

"How does it feel to see your man being eaten by zombies?" Stel asked, not afraid of the zombies at all, but rather enjoying the spectacle.

"Master, I was wrong! I was really wrong! Please forgive me," Elsie pleaded. "I've forgotten about Tyler. From now on, I am your most loyal dog!"

Seeing Elsie's performance, Stel felt satisfied and released her head. Elsie, now free, quickly crouched down and clung to Stel's leg, continually begging for mercy.

"Master, thank you, Master! Thank you!"

Stel smiled, knowing that the fear had been deeply imprinted in Elsie's heart. He no longer had to worry about her having any rebellious thoughts. After witnessing the harsh reality of this world, Elsie understood that to survive, Stel was her greatest reliance.

Suddenly, Tyler's half-devoured body twitched. Then, his remaining eye opened. Tyler had turned into a zombie. Stel saw this clearly from the balcony.

"Turns out, even a dead person bitten by these zombies can turn into a zombie."

Fortunately, these zombies didn't have much capability. They would just madly chase after anything alive they saw. They couldn't climb floors or figure out how to open doors. For now, the zombies couldn't reach the third floor where Stel and Elsie were. The occasional sound of doors being bumped into still frightened Elsie.

That night, Stel felt the urge again. He threw Elsie onto the bed. This time, Elsie did not resist at all. But Stel wasn't just interested in physical pleasure; he wanted to play some deeper psychological games.

"Elsie, tell me, after you got together with Tyler, what did you two do?" Stel asked, grabbing her hair with a hint of interrogation in his tone.

Elsie felt a sharp pain on her scalp.

Elsie didn't dare complain and could only obediently answer Stel's questions.

"Tyler had a strange habit. Whenever he met a new woman, he wouldn't touch her for the first month."

"Wouldn't touch her?"

"Yes, not only did he avoid intimate activities, but he also wouldn't kiss or hold hands. During the month we were together, he even slept in a separate room."

Stel almost laughed at Elsie's words. What was wrong with Tyler? He managed to steal someone else's girlfriend, and instead of being eager to start, he made them wait a month?

"Why did he do that?" Stel asked.

"Tyler told me he had some issues. He couldn't get aroused normally. He had to abstain for a long time to function like an average person."

So it was a physiological defect...

Stel chuckled. If he had known, he wouldn't have killed Tyler so quickly. Humiliating him in front of Elsie could have been fun.

"So, since you were with Tyler, you've remained untouched?"

"Yes... We planned to sleep together the night before last. But before we could start, you killed Tyler. All my firsts belong to you, Master."

Stel burst into laughter. He had only intended to get revenge on this couple, and he ended up with such a bonus. Elsie had seemed like a worthless slut to him, but it turned out she was still pure.

"Hahaha! This is hilarious. No wonder Tyler was so furious back then."

Suddenly, Stel grabbed Elsie from the bed and dragged her to the balcony.

At night, it was very quiet. The zombies below, having lost their targets, stood silently in place. Stel immediately recognized the zombie that Tyler had become.

"Master, there are too many zombies here. Let's go back to the bed..."

"Slap!"

Stel slapped Elsie across the face, coldly saying, "When did it become your place to give suggestions?"

"I wouldn't dare..."

With the zombies right below, Elsie was genuinely afraid that Stel might throw her down just like he did with Tyler. The next second, Stel made Elsie lie down on the balcony. She obeyed, her back facing Stel and looking down at the zombies through the railing.

"If you make a sound and those zombies hear you, you know what will happen."

"Uh-huh..." Elsie nodded urgently, now terrified to the extreme.

Stel then began his actions. Elsie bit her lip hard, trying not to make a single sound. For a full half-hour, she managed to stay completely silent.

But among the many zombies below, the one Tyler had become suddenly turned around. Even though he had lost his ability to think after becoming a zombie, Tyler kept moving towards the apartment building. With half his face missing, his hollow eyes lifted to look at Elsie and Stel.

"Hiss—!"

"Hiss—!!!"

Tyler kept scratching at the wall of the first floor, but his claws weren't sharp enough, and the wall remained unscathed. After a while, Stel lost interest. He took Elsie for a quick shower, and then they went to sleep.

Elsie had to sleep on the floor.
