Chereads / My sweet Angel / Chapter 2 - Him

Chapter 2 - Him

On the other side and in another city and in that big house that looked like a palace a girl shouted annoyed, saying: (Mark), return the lipstick

Mark said, smiling sarcastically: "We don't have girls who put on lipstick."

She said angrily: "It's a party what do you want me to put on?"

He said as he leaned towards her: "The colors you smear on your face are enough for you."

She said angrily as she extended her hand to him: "Give it back to me."

He said while waving lipstick in her face to tease her: "And if I don't, Miss Olivia?"

She said angrily: "I'll tell dad."

He said indifferently: "Tell him."

Olivia hurried down the stairs and headed towards her father, who was drinking a cup of coffee in the main hall. He heard his daughter Maha's voice saying: "dad, you must find a solution for Mark."

He turned to her and said: "What's wrong with that brother of yours now?"

She said angrily: "He took my lipstick and refuses to return it to me."

Her father said wearily: "I have no job other than resolving differences between you and your brother."

She said indignantly: "He started it "

Mark's voice came to her and said: "No she did, she's putting lipstick at a party she is still a child for such things."

She said sharply: "You're the child."

His father said : "Didn't you grow up for this, Mark? You're over twenty-five."

Olivia crossed her arms and said: "Tell him, dad and tell him to return my lipstick."

Mark said with a smile: "I'll return it, but on one condition."

She turned to him and he said: "Introduce me to one of your friends at the party."

She said, her eyes wide open: "There must be something wrong with your mind."

He looked at the lipstick in his hand and said: "So be it. Don't dream of seeing this again. say bye to it now before it reaches the trash."

She protested: "Don't do this. It's too expensive."

"You have two options either you the lipstick or one of your friends?"

She pursed her lips and said: "Fine, I will introduce you to one of them, Give it back to me now."

He almost gave it to her, but he backed down, saying: "Swear first."

She said wearily: "I swear on it, ok ? Come on, give it to me."

He gave her lipstick. She quickly snatched it from him and returned to the second floor.

As for his father, he looked at him annoyed and then said: "Aren't you ashamed of yourself, Mark, to ask your sister to introduce you to one of her friends? And in front of me as well."

Mark shrugged his shoulders and then said: "It's just an innocent friendship, dad. And all the girls I met know in advance that I won't get in a relationship with any of them, I didn't deceive anyone. They all know the limits of the relationship between us."

His father said annoyed: "Don't you see that these relationships aren't suitable for a young man like you? aren't you thinking about settling down?"

Mark smiled and said: "If you mean marriage then no ,I don't think about it at all."

His father shook his head more annoyed and said: "Look at your brother. He doesn't behave like you even though he is your younger brother."

Mark said sarcastically: "Liam? He doesn't care about anything at all. Look at him, even though we will leave shortly He hasn't shown up yet."

" Call him to find out where he is."

Mark picked up his phone to call Liam, but before he could do so, he heard the sound of the main door opening. Mark smiled sarcastically and said: "He must have finally left his friends for us and decided to come home."

His father turned to where Liam was and said with his eyebrows furrowed: "Why are you late, Liam?"

Liam said indifferently: "I forgot about tonight's party and I didn't remember until a while ago."

His father raised his eyebrows and said disapprovingly: "Is this something that one can forget, Liam?"

Liam shrugged his shoulders said: "I forgot about it and that's it."

Their father said angrily as he looked at Mark: "Call your sister so we can leave. If I talk with you more than this, I might get sick."

Mark looked angrily at Liam, who seemed completely indifferent to what was happening around him. Then he shouted again, calling Olivia: "Olivia, hurry up, we're leaving in a little while."

He heard her voice from the top of the stairs saying in a loud voice: "I'm coming, just a minute."

She soon landed and they all left the house, heading to the desired party.
