Synopsis
Alexander found himself in the world of Naruto. His soul merged and tangled with the Kakashi Hatake, right after the events of the Kyuubi Attack. After regaining his composure Alexander resolves himself to gain real strength, reaching Kakashi's true potential in strength and beyond, affecting the plots of the story to his benefit and becoming the most feared and influential ninja in the world. (A/N) This fanfiction is a complete rewrite of 'Strongest Kakashi' I happen to like that story but I couldn't get over how poorly put together the story was so I decided to remake it in my image. It won't be the complete same, as there will be original arcs, characters, etc. but for the most part, I'm keeping what I liked and getting rid of the bad while adding needed grammatical changes.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Reincarnation & Determination.

Konoha, 8 street blocks away from the prestigious Hokage tower, a miracle happened. The Transmigration of a soul from the real world, into the world of fiction. In the teenage body of a certain familiar ninja "Kakashi Hatake, The Copy Ninja." The loud wrestling of two crows awoke the boy, and with difficulty, he rose from his king-sized mattress only a few inches above the second floor of the apartment complex. Groggily walking to the door the boy froze, a 10-inch-tall mirror pressed up against the far corner of the wall showed him a sight he'd thought impossible staring right back at him. A teenage boy with Silver-white spiky long hair, a black cloth mask covering half his face, and the most glaring of details, A headband covering the left eye with an insignia impossible to mistake. The symbol of Konoha, one of the great ninja villages of the Naruto world.

"Is…Is this Kakashi…"

Words didn't come out for 5 excruciating minutes as the boy stared back into his reflection, stiff as a statue. Finally, breaking eye contact with the mirror the boy looks down spectating his figure. Realizing it's a massive difference from his previous body. Small, but veiny hands with perfectly cut nails and smooth pale skin. Short and muscular legs, with bruises all over, also stood out. Soreness and back pain were also prevalent as the boy's grogginess slowly went away.

"What…What the fuck happened? How did I become Kakashi?" With a confused face, the boy huffed.

"Am I Dreaming… Please tell me I'm dreaming." Kakashi's heart rate shot up, and his hands began to sweat excessively. Panicking he skipped closer to the mirror, spectating his new face touching it and trying to reassure the falsehood of his new predicament.

"Huh…This can't be true, Kakashi Panted, " To think I'd wake up in a fictional world such as this… I need to stop drinking as much…when I wake up I will…."

Just then, a burst of information stabbed into Kakashi's head, the pain overwhelmingly excruciating. Kakashi sank onto the ground holding his head and wailing in pain, this went on for hours But during those moments of agony, memories of Kakashi's life and the life of Alexander Zow up until the present were absorbed into the new Kakashi's consciousness. Early days with Sakumo Hatake, life in the academy, Sakumo's death, the many battles with Guy, graduating from the academy, passing the Chunin Exam, Team Minato, The Jonin Promotion, and the Third Great Ninja War. Obito's death, Rin's death, Minato's hokage ceremony, and finally the 9 tails attack and the death of the 4th. Having gathered all this information, Kakashi sat back on his bed. Something felt different in him, in his soul even. He wasn't sure why he was here, why he was in the body of Hatake Kakashi, but if he had to come up with a theory, a reason for why this might of happened. Maybe all of the tragedy in Kakashi's life became too much for him. After losing his father, Kakashi then lost his best friend Obito had to kill his teammate, Rin. As well as the recent loss of his teacher, Minato. Perhaps his soul just couldn't take it and it broke leaving it open to be occupied. Although Kakashi's soul didn't feel fully gone, maybe it was the memories but he felt like he had become one with Kakashi somehow, and a great change was taking place in his very being.

Alexander remembered his own previous life, a life of total normality up until he turned 18. He was born on an island just off the coast of Australia and grew up in an honest family. Both his parents were runaways from home, that met each other on their run and decided to create a family. Alexander's childhood was great growing up in the early 2000's enjoying all the peak shows possible. Ben 10, Avatar the Last Airbender, Johnny Tess, Jimmy Neutron, Pokemon, Teen Titans, and the one that changed Alexander's life and his first real introduction to anime, a little show named Naruto. From that point on he was obsessed with Naruto and later on anime. Alexander's life would go on swimmingly until a week following his 18th birthday. His parents died in a tragic car accident, returning from the airport after obtaining their passports and planning a trip to America. All of which was to celebrate their son's birthday. The death of both of his parents sent Alexander into a spiral of depression and loneliness. Alexander was now legally an adult and had all the responsibility of one but his mental stability fell and it was hard for him to keep a job. Alexander's lack of family to fall back on also hurt him as few people took care of him. Luckily he had some friends that allowed him to live with him but even that didn't last long, as eventually even his friends became tired of him and abandoned him. And it was all his fault, still couldn't keep his job and he just wasn't a team player. With the possibility of being homeless Alexander applied for multiple jobs just to stay afloat. The lack of sleep, social contact, and mental instability must have gotten to him though as his body and mind broke leaving his soul wandering and somehow transported to the Naruto world. In that way, Alexander and Kakashi had a similar past. Having gone through similar tragedies and trauma.

" I remember now, I remember everything…"

"My life as both Alexander and now… I guess, Kakashi."

With the help of his new memories of Kakashi. Alexander knew It was midnight, the first night after the Kyuubi Attack. The village hidden in the leaves was silent. After their traumatic experience only a handful of hours ago the village needed rest, the fallen heroes would most likely be held a funeral in the morning. Perhaps it was the influence of Kakashi's residual consciousness, but Alexander felt an ever-growing sadness within himself. Sighing he slapped himself trying to focus. Getting up the boy opened the door to his balcony and there was a view that could only be described as Challenging. In the distance, Konoha's 'Hokage Mountain' was there in all of its glory, Although the apartment was also covered in dust, Houses and restaurants torn to shreds, several covered dead bodies laid on the ground, and ninja tools littered the area. This sight shook Alexanderi's to his core. A new burning determination overwhelmed him. Alexander quickly re-entered his home and turned on the light grabbing a bottle of water and some pen and paper.

"Just In case this is not a dream and tomorrow I wake up the same… I'll need a plan on how to move forward and gain as much power as possible before the eventual 4th great ninja war." Sliding the mask down Alexander took a big gulp of water and began writing.

Even a ninja at the level of Kakashi in the grand scheme of the plot wasn't that important by the end of the 4th great ninja war as his role in the fight became smaller and smaller with the only thing keeping him relevant being his connections with Obito. Kakashi even died against pain and struggled too much against a ninja like Zabuza. The point is that as a well-known and legendary figure, Kakashi often didn't live up to the hype. There were very few moments Kakashi got a clean victory against his opponents most times he would just be rag-dolled on so Kishimoto could prove the new foe's strength. Case in point Zabuza, Kakuzu, and Pain..

Kakashi's power at its peak was nothing to scoff at either. Kakashi's Double Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan form was able to blitz and hurt Kaguya after all but, that power was not his in the first place it was given to him by Obito, not to mention he ended up losing that power, and the Sharingan as a whole. And there was no way Alexander would relive those future experiences.

Thankfully Kakashi's genius and potential is off the charts, at the age of 12 he became a Jonin, becoming the youngest recorded Jonin in Konoha's History. But his progress significantly slowed down after that. Being a big Naruto in his previous life Alexander had several theories, that could possibly explain at least in-universe why Kakashi's growth slowed down tremendously after the third great ninja war.

"There were 3…. at least 3 reasons as to why Kakashi's growth slowed down."

1. The Sharingan heavily nerfed and sabotaged his growth as he relied too heavily on its usage.

2. The depression caused Kakashi not to train leaving him to grow weaker than he was at an earlier age as an anbu ninja.

And finally 3. All The Above.

The Sharingan's drain and restraint it placed on Kakashi's chakra pool didn't give him enough room to work on other skills that would drastically improve his power. Not to mention the depression allowed him to grow complacent. He was already Jonin level by the age of 13. He never really needed to train until the Akatsuki formed and started their conquest. When Kakashi lost the Sharingan after the war he wasn't able to perform Chidori effectively so he trained to regain his strength leading to the creation of purple lightning. So the only thing holding Kakashi back was ironically the Sharingan and the will to grow stronger a problem Alexander had already written several solutions to.

With a new ambition for strength, Kakashi's limit would be broken completely, especially because of Kakashi's age. Being 14 and at the level of a Jonin only made things easier for Alexander, on top of having around 12 years to train and get stronger before the start of the original series and Naruto's academy graduation. Although with that being said the Naruto world was dangerous and chances are plot armor would not be coming to save him, so everything Alexander does from this point forward would be under his control and influence nobody else to blame. Alexander looked at his new body. skinny yet compact with hard muscle and explosive power.

"This body is mine now and it'll be my vessel into this new world… I'll take great care of it. Don't worry Kakashi I won't fail you and come up short I'll make sure of it, I'll gain strength, And survive for the both of us.

Kakashi clenched his fist, "12 years until the start of canon, and 16 years until the 4th great ninja war. I have a substantial amount of time but it's not infinite. I'll need to use it to its maximum efficiency.

"Now to the matter at hand," Alexander flipped the page and grabbed the pen once more.

"Kakashi's Sharingan as of right now is the main problem… how do I go about fixing it." Alexander tapped his finger on the desk before the idea came to him.

"The Main issue of the Sharingan is the heavy constant chakra drain it imposes on Kakashi. And the reason for that is because of the nature of which Kakashi obtained it, a transplant.

'Dojutsu Theft' was heavily frowned upon in the Naruto world especially Konoha where the two greatest dojutsus reside. In fact, it's a crime punishable by death. Due to Kakashi's memories, Alexander now had a lot of insight into the inner workings of the village than he had as a viewer. Turned out the Uchiha were indeed very furious with Kakashi's possession of the Sharigan and tried to get it back after the war. Regardless of Obito being a black sheep of the Uchiha clan, he was still a Uchiha and it was seen as a huge sign of disrespect to have a non-Uchiha hold the powers of the clan. Thankfully Kakashi had some important people backing him, 'Minato Namikaze' Kakashi's sensei, and the man who was slated to be the 4th Hokage had his support. Jiraya and Kushina by proxy also supported Kakashi. The third Hokage stayed neutral trying to play peacekeeper but surprisingly and Ironically Danzo and the rest of the elders also supported Kakashi. On top of the Hatake name being so prestigious, it allowed Kakashi to keep the Sharingan.

Alexander sweatdropped at the unified front against the Uchiha.

"It's a bit suspicious that so many people were in support of me and stood up to the Uchiha like that, especially Danzo," Kakashi muttered.

"But anyways it's all in the past."

Kakashi's total chakra amount was probably massive but the Sharingan not being compatible with his Hatake Genetics stole all that chakra away from him. But to progress, Alexander knew he needed to find a way to block off the Sharigan's drain of his chakra. Therefore Not only fully allows him to use his full chakra reserves for fighting and also training. Kakashi caressed his left eye and was able to feel the heat the eye emitted from overexertion. Alexander also felt the slow chakra consumption from the eye, It wasn't a lot as the eye was covered but it was still noticeable.

Kakashi pulled his forehead protector up and saw a scar diagonally running through the eyelids. The eyes were a blood moon red and in the center, there was the iconic three tomoe slowly spinning.

"So this is the Sharigan huh…"
